I'm sitting here thinking about when dtd and worried b/c I had the big O (orgasm not ovulation). Now I'm worried.
I'm really hoping some of you conceived girls with the Big O!!!

I've read many posts where woman have conceived girls after having an orgasm (having only boys, I cannot speak from personal experience, but I do know that I didn't O with either of them). Does the sway stats speadsheet have any info about O? I can't remember (even though I referred to it yesterday to check some stuff out).
I know it's harder to do than for me to say, but stop worrying! This baby's gender is already decided....worrying isn't going to change a thing. I'm sure if I evern get a BFP, I will disect everything I could have done/should have done to make it a "better" sway, and I will need other people to remind me what's done is done :P
Good luck!

I think it's cause o makes your body produce more alkaline cm or something which would not reduce the amount of speed reaching the egg as well as not 'sucking' the sperm up to the egg. I reckon. You've managed to lower count by another method it wouldn't make much difference and I also reckon lots of girls are conceived when the lady orgasms or surely no girls would have ever been born after regular dtd! I definitely O'd with both my DD and my DS. There's no evidence it sways either way, read this:

That thread is confusing to me. Maybe I'm just blind but I can't figure out if Atomic recommends no O or not.

I think it is a matter of situation. If you have done all you could to lower sperm count then an orgasm probably won't matter as much and it will help you achieve pregnancy. If you have done nothing different and already have a ton of boys I doubt orgasm would be the reason it is another boy either. Maybe in a light/loose sway it could make some difference? Maybe we just don't know enough either.

I was really drunk with DD1 and forgot that I wasn't supposed to O. LOL. So yes I did:)

I think this is part of the girl sway statistics which have sex outcome.

Edit: Well maybe not?? I looked through here and couldn't find were it was. Pretty sure it is on the sway form though??

Ha! I wonder. I was actually super drunk when both of my daughters were conceived but not at all with my boys. Maybe i'm on to something.

With all our boys I did orgasm so with our attempt for our sway I didn't. Hoping it helped as it's something different for us!
But I am sure lots of girls are conceived with orgasms though so I wouldn't worry too much (I know, easier said than done😉). Your sway as a whole is what will increases your chances of that pink bean though, I wouldn't worry. xx

Many of my essays are not necessarily my recommendations but just lay out all the evidence and then have some options for you guys to choose from about what will work best for you. At the end of the day this site is NOT supposed to be "Gender Swaying by atomic", it's gender swaying in general and that means we are a clearinghouse for all the info and it's on you guys what to do with it
There are things where I feel strongly as to whether it sways and then things I really don't have a clue and this is one of those things. Just like with everything and swaying, there are some circumstances it makes sense to me to leave it out and others where it makes some sense to include it (such as if someone wasn't getting pregnant)
Willowsgirl, I do have a recommendation in your sway plan about this issue.

Thanks so much everyone (and atomic!) for weighing in, I think I feel a little better.
My best friend has a little girl and she has never had a drink in her life (my best friend, not her dd lol). I'm gonna ask her tomorrow if she O'ed when she conceived her...pretty sure she's going to say yes (I know all about her and her dh's sex life) so that will make me feel better if she says yes. Another thing about my best friend too- she is a vegetarian (PETA person, animal lover) and drinks things like diet coke etc...so maybe it was her diet? She wasn't swaying, her dd is her only child (???).
Atomic, wantingpink, thank you for sharing, gives me hope there's a chance!

and what if she says she didn't? Will you descend into unhappiness? Tons of people got girls with/without O, with/without drinking, blah blah blah. NONE of these things are magic bullets. Gender swaying is not about magic bullets or switches that flip to change you from boy to girl friendly. Please don't tear yourself up on a hunt for this unicorn that doesn't exist. I can 100% guarantee you that there is every possibility that your friend could say, "no I didn't have an orgasm" and you spend the next 4 months really super upset only to find out that you are having a girl anyway, OR that your friend did have one and you could still be carrying a boy.

Lol thanks Atomic, I really needed to hear this!!! ESP since my bestie just told me today that she did NOT have the Big O when she conceived her dd!!! :( Going to try not to obsess over it and just remember that you and some other ladies on here DID conceive your daughters with the Big O! Gonna try try try not to obsess lol.
On that note, anyone else who conceived a dd with the Big O please feel free to share lol! ;)

Atomic you're right...did a bunch of Google searches and lots of women conceived girls while having the big O, makes me feel better. <sigh> so much for not obsessing over it! I'm already analyzing my sway over and over and wondering what I could have done better but I think I need to relax and know what will be will be.... easier said than done lol.
