13 week scan

Hi ladies,

Just wondering how many of you were told gender at your 12/13 week scan? I'm not sure its overly common here in Australia.. The only ones I've known who have been told that early were told they were having boys.

We have booked in with one of the top sonographers in our area so i really hope baby behaves and we can get some indication!!

My uls tech wouldn't commit at 13 weeks but she did take a peak. She said she can usually see boy parts. For my DD we saw three small little dots. Some techs won't even go there and some will try. Hope you get one that will try for you but also know it is just a guess and I have seen a few boy guesses turn into girls!!

Yes I did Atomic, boy was the overall guess! On Ingender as well. Failed sway I'm afraid...

I was told at 13w4d, confirmed 2x since. I had a very clear hard to argue potty shot, he's a boy. x

A friend of mine was told girl with 13+6, from pottyshot. It was very clear!

Yes I thought all 13 week potty shots looked like boy because the nub sticks out quite still.

She said it looked too far out and unlikely to turn into girl bits. X

My 12+4 potty shot DID look like a boy. However harmony says girl. Once I know for sure I will update this. I just can't imagine not seeing the turtle when I go for a gender scan. I'm quite attached to this actually being a girl now so pray that harmony is correct xx

They do have nubs but it is definitely possible to tell at 13 weeks some babies develop faster and some techs have more skills paired with bettet equipment you could clearly make out all 3 parts for my son at 13w4d even the tech was surprised.
