My friend is planning a boy sway for December. Her husband is on testosterone replacement injections right now, which dramatically lowers his sperm count. Does anyone know when he should get off this medication before starting the sway? Should he do anything extra to bring his count up?

My husband has low testosterone but wasn't on anything when we conceived our son, I put him on fish oil, zinc and b12 to help. He is now on replacement but it depends what time he's on and how many a week as to how long it stays in his body. Is in on oral or injection?

I think I answered this in another thread, but for anyone else who is wondering and didn't see that thread, I would give it 72 days or so (because that's how long sperm take to form). I'd try to have him use them right up till that demarcation so his T stays up for a while afterwards, and then start TTC once you get to the 72 day mark or so. If it was a near thing like DW ovulates right before that 72 days is up, I'd still have an attempt, would not wait a whole nother month in addition to that.

Thanks for answering twice-- I posted it in two different forums.

My friend's husband is on injections too. He was on pellets before that. What did you do for your sway, if you don't mind me asking? How long was he off of them before you got pregnant with your son?
