Aromic. ladies help needed please

Does anyone know about prometrium inserted vaginally? I went to my ob and he sent me for bloodwork which I haven't done yet but just found out Im pregnant. He said to take 1 100mg capsule 2 times a day as Ive had 3 miscarraiges and he thougtht this might help. My question is should I take it even if I don't have my bloodwork back?? Im going today to do it but it will still take a couple day to get back. WIll it harm the baby if my hormone levels are ok without it??? I took it twice yest and once today not worrying as my ob said to but then I started thinking and pannicking. If anyone knows anything about this and the harm it may cause if I dont need it please help. My doc and ob and both away ;( of course so nobody can give me answers I even called the pharmacist and they cannot help either...thanks in advance

Yes it's fine to do that, won't hurt, may help. If you start it, you need to continue thru the first trimester even if your bloodwork comes back normal.

Thanks so much Atomic not a aromic lol. Nobody would tell me if it was ok, I was going mad. As usual you come yo my rescue and make me calmer and feel better immediately. My family doc couldn't get me in till may 8 and my ob is away for a month. I even called the pharmacist and the midwife and none of them could tell me. I appreciate what you do and this site so much. You make a big difference in my life and many others :) thank you.

EVeryone is scared to say anything because they're afraid of lawsuits, which I'm not, because I own nothing that isn't held together by duct tape and prayer. :)
