Hi,

Dad of two wonderful boys here and my wife and I are thinking of trying for a third and would love a girl. Seems like loads of helpful info on the site but can't see anything specific about diet/exercise suggestions for the Dads. V grateful if anyone could point me in the direction of any relevant info.

Many thanks.

Welcome to the site! I'm not sure all the things men can do. I know there are supplements and cutting out red meat. I think running/cycling is good for men, but, again, not 100% sure of the recommendations. If you surf around the site, you will find some posts about "what can DH do to help" and I'm sure if you start posting in the TTC girl forum, the women will be able to help point you in the right direction. There is also the option to purchase a personalized plan from Atomic, which includes strategies for men.

Good luck, and welcome (again) :)

I have the recommendations for dads mixed in with the threads themselves rather than one specific place.

Short version -

he does not need to do the diet, but if he were to cut back or cut out red meat, all meat, healthy fats then that would be great. Some people have their husbands eat more soy foods or drink soy milk.

Jogging and cycling are good for pink.

DH smoking sways pink (I am not recommending this for anyone who does not already DO this!)

Most guys take either olive leaf or cranberry and then also take either licorice root or peppermint tea, and there are essays about most of that in the link in my signature "the Complete Index"

Hi and welcome! I think it's great that you've joined us and want to know more about gender swaying and are actively asking for info.

My husband is all for swaying too and he will "do what I tell him" but wouldn't actively go and research and read himself or join a forum and ask questions. And there are lots of husbands that wouldn't even consider swaying!

Your wife is lucky to have such a supportive hubby!

If you and your wife are thinking about a personalised plan, I highly recommend them! It's all planned out for you in a step to step guide and takes all the guess work out of it all! 😊

Welcome Albley13!! I just wanted to say I think it is so great that you are being so supportive of swaying. My DH thinks it is a bunch of non-sense (even though we are now having our second girl after two boys). I so wish I had a DH that was supportive let alone one that would come onto a site like this and ask questions!!

Hi - thanks very much all for the tips and kind words. I shall have a proper look around as there's clearly a wealth of info here.

Best wishes.
