I know red meat & fish are big no-no's on the diet but I have a question about white meat chicken/tenders. Is that also a big no-no too or is it kind of up in the air? I'm not talking about eating it everyday... But say once every two weeks if I can fit it into the diet would I be able to eat it or is it more of a boy food? I don't want to eat it at times & have it raise my testosterone or do anything to me that's boy friendly or could ruin my entire diet. I've been doing really good on this diet so far & don't want to take any chances of messing it up just bc of my love for white meat chicken. I really can do without it but thought I'd ask here to get everyone's opinions. Thanks girls!

From my understanding you'd be able to have it every couple of weeks as a cheat if you wanted to! It's not that you can't have chicken it's that it's very high in protein so you'll easily go over your protein allowance for the day but probably not meet your calories for the day. If that makes sense....That's my understanding of it, anyone please feel free to correct if I've got it wrong! :)

For the LE diet it's just so much easier to stick to protein and calorie amounts in this case rather than this or that food is 'wrong' which is so much more mentally taxing. A small amount of fish or white meat every once in a while is fine, just try not to exceed your daily protein and calorie amount.
