Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
mostly vegetarian/vegan. stuck to no snacking (had a few slip ups), no breakfast, and no meat (with maybe 2 minor cheats there). Stuck to LE as best as I could. Did have one weekend where I didn't count calories/fat but did mostly stick to veggies

stayed away from meat for the most part

No, I drink caffeine regularly
Any Diet Details?
Stuck to LE everything although sodium was hard to limit. Def. had a lot less than i normally consumed but couldn't stick within the under 1000- it just wasn't possible. And i did drink a lot of caffeine (not more than usual just my normal but for most people it would be a lot)
Any Diet Comments/Additional Info?
Had a few minor cheats- hopefully it didnt ruin the sway. For the most part i stuck to the diet fairly well

no exercise- lost quite a bit of weight with diet alone

Things that make me feel great about my sway:
Tried really hard on the diet which was not easy for me.
Things that make me nervous about my sway:
Did have a few cheat days. Got pregnant faster than i expected to before i could add in exercise. I'm just not convinced I actually did "well enough" on the sway to get a girl... I'm also concerned about the amount of caffeine I had too

It looks like a great sway! I wouldn't worry about the caffeine, atomic doesn't think caffeine really sways anyway. Fingers crossed you get your girl. x

So nervous- we should find out Sunday... But im totally feeling like im going to hear boy so im just trying to mentally prepare myself and of course my 12 week scans were of no help in guessing lol

Well add me to the failed sway section- its a boy. Def. feeling disappointment right now and mad that i didnt do certain things like exercise but it is what it is.

On the plus side my family seems very excited so my worry about disappointing them doesnt seem to be realized so thats good and i think DS1 will love have a close in age playmate :)

Just wasnt meant to have a girl i guess

We prob wont go for #3 as i think
2 is what we can handle so ill have to give up the girl dream but if we do im not sure ill sway again. I almost (right now anyway) feel mad at myself that i tried so hard and still couldnt succeed at it :( and at the end chance or biology or who knows what won out...

Hopefully the sad feelings will pass soon enough

Awww...hugs mama! Your sway seemed perfect to me I don't see anything I personally would have changed. Don't be mad at yourself, think about it as IT WAS MEANT to be.Remember swaying is never 100% guaranteed. Think about your son having a BF and someone to share & play with. Congrats, either way you tried so hard and in the end your having a healthy baby;-)

Thanks- I'm definitely having a rough time and feeling just generally very disconnected from the pregnancy. And of course mad at myself for trying so hard but obviously not hard enough :( Hopefully it passes...

Hi JG, Your sway was great and I'm sorry you didn't hear girl.

I know exactly what you are feeling. My sway failed and I cried for days, and I felt really disconnected from my baby and the whole pregnancy. I didn't now how I was going to make the next 20 weeks.

Well I'm now 26 weeks, and what a difference a couple of weeks makes! I am actually excited about meeting this little man and like you my DS1 is going to love having a brother to play with. I too only planned on having 2 children, so I have had to let go of my girl dream.

All I can say is hang it there and I promise you it will pass. You did all you could and it obviously wasn't meant to be :(
