Really hoping for a boy.

But I have always been a huge diet soda drinker.

I have a girl and a boy already. I want a brother for my son and feel like I ruined my chances with my diet soda infatuation.

If not used as a "sway" but something you have always just done, is it less damaging for getting a boy?!

Does that even make sense lol?!

I would try to stop drinking that for pure health reasons. I don't drink anything that takes the finish of a penny. Can't imagine what it's doing to your insides.

I have actually stopped drinking and consuming anything with fake sure since getting pregnant. I'm just worried now looking back :(

You're worried about the impact on the sway?

Not one thing makes or breaks a sway. It's based on the overall maternal condition at conception. There is another recent study that has shows that diet at conception can turn on and off genes. It was published this week. They of course are looking at this for health reasons but from our perspective, it's more proof that our overall condition can impact gender too.

Consuming diet drinks isn't going to make us have a boy or girl. You have to look at the big picture. Overall, they are very unhealthy and nothing should be consumed in bulk in life. All about moderation!

I actually don't miss the fake sugar haha! I have been drinking lots of infused water because I feel super dehydrated.

But yeah....my diet was crap when I fell pregnant. :(

Lots of take out, fast food....etc.

We were in the process of selling our house so we needed to be out of the house a lot for showings. We resorted to quick and easy.

Needless to say, that is not the case any longer lol.

I don't feel my diet has changed at all since I conceived my last child.

I will say I was in the best health with my daughter as we had just gotten married and I had been eating good and lost weight.

The good news is that fast food is full of fat and calories. I was a heavy fast food eater when getting pregnant with ds1 and 2 and then with ds3 we ate out a lot, not particularly fast food but again it's calorie and fat dense. I snacked a ton too. I do not think fast food sways girl at all.

I got 4 sons drinking tons of Diet Pepsi and eating really good. I conceived my only DD drinking Sobe lean and eating less.

My first son was absolutely a diet-soda baby. Back then I lived for the stuff (ill go ahead and blame youth and getting though college for that one. Lol). I certainly don't think that you being a diet soda fiend is going to make it a girl "for sure." Even though I was swaying and it obviously changes things...I didn't drink diet soda at all when I got my daughter. You still have plenty of hope for another son!

I have never been a diet soda drinker...one sip of artificial sweetener and I get the most vicious headaches. I have one of each :)

I've never drank diet soda at all (don't like it), and I've conceived four girls (out of six known-gender pregnancies). Mostly I drink water, and always have.

I have seen people getting boys drinking scary and insane levels of aspartame (on other sites their aspartame use is beyond the pale). I would not worry about it, I really don't think it does a whole lot and I only keep it in the mix because it's easy.
