View Full Version : Diet to lose pregnancyweight & then LE diet? Bad idea or how to make a smooth transition for sway?

Hello AS,

I am thinking of TTC from June 2015 (warming up to it)...

I had a query though about losing pregnancy weight and how this would affect a pink sway.

With DD I gained a lot of weight, I was 13 kilos over usual weight and I lost almost all weight within the first 6 months after giving birth. Then I stayed stable until I gained about 2 kilos before TTC again and got pregnant with DS.

My question is what do I do with my current pregnancy after I give birth? I am sure I will gain similar weight again and I see how my body is already ;-)
I plan to start losing it again in the first months and start my sway (LE diet, probably purchase a plan for this) and exercise from March 2015. Is there anything that I should be careful with with all the diets?

Last time my diet for losing pregnancy weight was very restrictive and I walked an hour a day and the weight dropped, but this time I was wondering if having such a restrictive diet will make my body think when the LE diet starts that good times are here, what is your advice on this?

For reference I am petite (5' 4'') and my weight fluctuates roughly between 106 pounds to 116...

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Thanks a bunchx

I think you are best off following a higher protein form of the "atomic fertility diet" while losing weight and you can find that in this thread http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/9052-swaying-under-special-circumstances-part-3-pcos.html Then when it comes time to sway, you can drop protein and go from there.

Thanks a lot Atomic, that sounds like a good plan and I will start it once DS arrives...
