DINNER TONIGHT!

18668

Because of how i eat!!!!
I wish when ever i sway again i can stay away from eating like this and the amount i eat :(
I still feel hungry after eating this! Or am i really still hungry
This is my very friendly boy lifestyle i knew for over 13 years+
I know i can change it!

I'm gonna be determined to up my odds of conceiving my baby girl i so longed for! I remember someone saying in their sway they ate whenever they got hungry. Instead of me snacking and eating just because. I got to do better when it's time!

That's not even that bad! I usually have a huge steak or pork tenderloin, a whole sweet potato with lots of butter, and 2 cups of roasted veggies with lots of garlic and olive oil! And heavy cream in my coffee!

I'm now used to being hungry on the LE diet! I try to just chew some aspartame containing gum between my two meals!

I've eased into LE diet since January. Slowly lowering food, then cutting out meat, then slowly pushing back breakfast. It's amazing how your body adjusts. I swear my stomach has shrunk!! I used to eat that much for dinner no problem but now i'd be stuffed on half that. I also stopped snacking and the first few weeks were hard but it's getting easier.

When I had my boys I was constantly eating something... usually smoothies, coffee (half and half with maple syrup), almonds, on top of meals. When I got PG with my girls both times I was eating only about 2 times a day and it was usually whatever was easy and quick. First time I was eating that way because I knew I wanted to sway. Second time was just because I didn't have time with the baby and the two boys. 6blue I really hope you get your girl this time!!

Can I ask you ladies how long y'all are doing/did the le diet? I have been on it for 6 weeks but this past week I have been completely off. I have just lost my steam :-( I feel like I need to start over at week 1!! And even during the first few weeks I did perfect M-F and totally blew it S and*Sun. This is way harder than I thought it would be

Don't beat yourself up too badly 6blue. It's really not THAT bad if that was your second meal of the day and the biggest. I'd stay away from that red meat and if you feel you must have meat opt for ground chicken or ground turkey. The cheese on there looks minimal but from what they say about girl diets isn't cheese a good thing? If the refried beans are vegetarian that's not so bad. You have iceburg lettuce on there which is good for swaying girl. The only thing I see which could be bad are the tortillas. The whole meal probably is high in sodium though. GD doesn't monitor sodium as much but I still watch it personally....I have three boys myself so I completely understand the shock of adhering to a much different diet.

Potatoes are not necessarily boy foods. Atomic ate lots of potatoes when she got her girl. You shouldn't be eating fries or chips but a small baked potato with a few toppings is a great lunch for a girl sway.

With my failed sway I was on diet for 12 weeks very strict. This time I would likely do 4 months vegetarian then 4 months LE diet, no breakfast, no snacking. I don't think you need to do it that long but it won't hurt and I have the time.

I'm not swaying just yet. I ate 2 boiled eggs and potato chips that day so boy friendly :(
What kind of tortillas is ok to eat if any?

Next sway I'm hardly eating! Lol

I would eat these white tortillas I got from Costco. They are raw and you cook them. They are so yummy but they aren't whole grain. Still fortified white tortillas. They are also very small. I think the key is to eat a small meal of foods that are on the LE list so you don't feel so deprived. If once a week you are really craving something go ahead and eat it but eat just a couple of bites. You are more likely to be able to stick to the diet as a whole and not be stressed out and feeling deprived if you allow yourself one small cheat a week. You could even pick a day that way you have something to look forward to:)

Corn tortillas are better than flour as they have fewer calories and typically aren't fortified.
