DTD advice

This is our first month TTC and I have a question (or two lol):
According to my LMP I should ovulate around May 17-22, I'm usually very regular and very fertile. When should we DTD? I'm considering buying opks today because I really don't want to miss my window but I don't want to DTD everyday during my window and raise my Ph.

I've never used RePhresh or any similar product. Are they easy to use and suggested during this window?

I should mention I want to do one attempt + J&D

I wouldn't worry about raising pH. Just do one attempt at first positive OPK and J&D. If you aren't familiar with them then I would suggest a digital one as the ones with two lines can be more stressful than they are worth.

Are you temping? If not I highly recommend you start immediately, so that you can confirm actual O.

What about every third day DTD until after O?

I haven't started temping yet, this month we are just taking it easy and seeing what nature has in store :-)

If you want to do that I would DTD every 4th day... Especially if you fall PG very easily.

one attempt is very very important esp. if you are highly fertile. I really do not recommend any pink swayers DTD every 3 days.
