peppermint tea vs peppermint infused water

I know a lot of people don't do the peppermint, but if you have any advice, would you think that peppermint infused water does the same as peppermint tea? I would think so. I bought a peppermint plant I think I may try it, maybe 3 glasses of just peppermint water daily.

I'm not sure how potent the tea vs water is. I would think tea was a lot stronger, and don't you have to drink like 4 cups a day of the tea? I'm not saying it would harm your sway, but I'm wondering if you'd reap the benefits from so little peppermint if you know what I mean...

I think that without the hot water, the oils in the pep leaves may not get released as much and it may not be as potent. Your call to make tho.
