Im already feeling like my sway is doomed lol- i wont know the gender for awhile (and honestly will still be happy no matter how it turns out) but i am totally kicking myself for not adding in the exercise when i did most everything else (i did lose weight though). Has anyone had a successful pink sway without the exercise component?

The swaying spreadsheet indicated that people have conceived girls without exercise :)

It's one if the things I regret not doing in my last failed sway. But men make 50/50 sperm so you've always got a shot

I am not doing exercise now and do not have a dd, but I was pregnant with a girl in dec/jan (no sway) and while conceiving her I was doing only moderate exercise (including weight lifting) like 3 days a week. I try to think of that when I feel bad for not including exercise in my sway now. I think couch potato is better than what I used to do, and even with that I got pink.

Phew! This makes me feel a lot better about my sway as it is not possible for me to dedicate 1hr cardio per day (hubby works long hours so i have noone to look after my16month old).

Thats why i couldnt as well- had a toddler at home too :)
Im feeling a bit better though now that maybe i didnt fail completely. Im thrilled we got pregnant fast (first attempt) and feel blessed however it turns out but i think between no exercise, antihistamines, and trying to lower fertility but it happening right away does feel a little bit like maybe it couldnt have worked

A good friend of mine has 2 girls and she hates exercise. She loves her food too, is a healthy weight, but I think what sways it for her is that she and her DH are not very tall but they are both very good looking, plus they were 38 when DD1 was born and 39 when DD2 was born. She got PG 4 months after popping the first one out. She has both Mary and Martha tendencies, ist massively one or the other. Just saying that there were other factors for her but she does not go near a gym!

I've conceived 2 confirmed girls with LE diet and little to no exercise.

It's so good to hear so many stories of girls with no exercise! I am so sure my sway is doomed with my lack of exercise this month but maybe not!! 😕

Me! I did the couch potato route and worked for me. I lost weight and muscle mass and couldn't stand my body, but it worked. I have always done the 20 min exercise and lifted weights to tone, etc. that's when I conceived my boys, no wonder! My neighbor does the high intensity exercise (60-90) min and has 4 girls, again no wonder!

Interesting that you know someone who has girls while doing the High intensity workouts! I have been doing the HIIT method of working out since last October (on and off) and I was sure it could doom my girl sway....but now I'm thinking maybe I should continue. I just started swaying again this week, so I'm going to do some more searching on this topic to see if I should keep on or lay off. It does have some muscle building to it, but it's not to build bulk. I have lost weight while doing it...not much but that was prior to starting the LE diet. I'm just afraid that it builds too much muscle, though.

if you're losing some weight on a lower protein diet, then you can get a girl even with weight lifting. It's not as sure a thing as straight cardio, and I try to tailor my recommendation to what will work for most of the people, most of the time. But that doesn't mean that therea ren't an endless array of other things that can and do work. :)
