Coffee/caffine seems to be somewhat of a toss up with pink swayers. I've always been a coffee drinker (I like it STRONG!) but when TTC DS I gave it up completely. Once he was born I took it up again.
What are you doing? Coffee, or no? What results have we been seeing for pink?
I usually have a couple cups of strong coffee with a splash of whole milk and maybe whip cream. I'm thinking of not cutting it out in the spirit of doing the opposite of what I was doing for TTC DS. Maybe start taking it black. WDYT?

It seems from the stats that caffeine either doesn't sway or might even sway pink. I freaking love coffee and have a glass every day, I'm currently swaying pink - no clue if it's going to work yet but I doubt if I have another DS it's because of coffee.

I havent changed my coffee habits. I have a cup in the morning before gym. If anything I probably drink less coffee than when DS was conceived but thats because I am having less overall. When DS was conceived I had pre- and post- workout coffees and now I just have the pre-workout coffee! This is something that for me I am not fussing over, I am having coffee whenever I fancy.

I never drank coffee until before the summer I ttced for DD....I started cold brewing coffee and making iced coffees by mixing that concentrate with unsweetened almond milk...the best!!! In fact, I have a glass mixed up right beside me now!!!

I drank 2-3 strong cups a day with artificial sweetener and a little whole milk. I think atomic's right. Excessive caffeine (which 3 cups is!) is probably a pink sway.

the idea that coffee sways blue has been 100% totally debunked. The reason why the French Diet people claimed caff. swayed blue has been absolutely and completely disproven. The best study we have ever done on diet shows that caffeine use is neutral, and our results show that higher caff may even sway pink.
I got my daughter drinking a ton of caffeine!

So glad to read your response atomic cause if coffee was off limits, I so wouldn't be swaying! 😉 Happy to cut out meat, healthy fats, snacking and more but NOT my morning coffee! 😊

My morning coffee made skipping breakfast doable!

On board with all of you! I'm drinking more coffee than I think I ever have in my life. At least 3 cups a day, sometimes 5! I use fat-free creamer in mine-so yum I don't know if I'll ever switch back to milk. Lol! I agree that it makes skimping in other areas easier. But for me it's just a must to get through the day with 2 little ones, a teenager, and a new CEO job now. (Yeah, no stress in my life...ha! Thinking Mary, thinking Mary...)

I never drank coffee at all when I conceived my boys. I was a daily green and white tea drinker!!!! I'm definitely including caffeine in my sway-- a double shot of espresso a day and a diet soda.
I stopped the diet soda after O since I was drinking it with vodka every day and I'm limiting the espresso during my TWW as well after reading on an IVF site where the doctors said to limit caffeine from all sources during the TWW since it constricts the blood vessels and could lead to early loss.

i believe it's perfectly fine for most women to use caff in the 2WW. the rules are different for IVF because it's an "unnatural" (please no one take offense) way of getting pregnant and doesn't always happen as easily as it does for "natural" conceptions

NO ONE should start drinking coffee for a boy sway. That is not a good idea and I really really do not want anyone who was not already drinking it, to start coffee to sway blue. COFFEE DOES NOT SWAY BLUE, it's been totally debunked beyond any doubt whatsoever.

I just meant for yogi that it didn't deter me from having boys;)

Correction to what I said » I do not drink coffee with the purpose of swaying this time around. I have been drinking coffee for almost a year. Its one cup and mostly creamer what I drink and it's iced coffee so I am not a Hardcore coffee drinker either. However with my 3DD's i never drank coffee because of my stomach ulcers, heartburn and severe acid indigestion. 😁

me either! :) I just don't want anyone who wasn't drinking coffee, to start it for a boy sway (this is advice given on some other sway sites). I think that could cause someone to have a girl!
