Need advice RE Cross Hairs in FF Chart..

Ok..
CD 13 I had negative opks (used both digital and ic's) I tested around 8pm and got a non smiley, tested at 11.30pm and got a smiley!

So I put this on my chart as a + on CD 13.
I also had a temp dip that morning (but how could i have ovulated then????) and have had 3 rises since and FF put me as O day CD 13.. BUT could this be possible if my opks were - up until 11.30pm? Should I not be putting a + in for this CD.. (I mean, if I had of gone to bed at my normal time I would not have seen my surge till CD 14 anyway???)

CD 14, I had my surge again. We BD at 3am on CD 14 (we waited a few hours after we caught the very start of my surge at 11.30pm)

If I take out the + opk that I got CD 13 @ 11.30pm it takes me XH's out.. and I think I did ovulate on CD14 not 13 anyway?....

Also, when taking my temp this morning my therm. kept beeping in between does this mean the battery is dying and will this be affecting my temps :S

When in doubt, go off of temps and not OPK, BUT it can be the case that your temp was just down that day for whatever reason and the OPK are correct.

I also think you prob did O on CD 14 from what you're saying and the low temp is just an outlier.

I do think the batteries can affect the temp - anyone had this experience??

I always get a temp dip (usually lasting a couple of days) just before I OV, maybe your dip was your body doing it's last bit of gearing up before OV?

Well all good as FF has put me back at o'ing on cd 14 :)
