I read in a thread here not to use a metal spoon to eat Royal Jelly/Bee Pollen, but I was wondering what the reason for this is? It's really thick and kind of hard to scoop out with a plastic spoon. Anyone know why we can't use a regular kitchen spoon?

The metal in the spoon counters the effective properties of the royal jelly - apparently. I used a baby spoon :) Oh and I got my boy!

I am not a huge fan of the RJBP anyway and so I am not sure I'd even bother with it. As I did more investigations I learned that virtually all the benefits of RJBP can be had from the B vitamins in multivitamin and brewers yeast, plus fish oil. and the allergy issue is a very big concern for me (people have died after using RJBP!) So as a result I have moved away from recommending it, even though it has seemed to help people sway blue, it's safest to avoid it. :)

When did you start the raw honey? The 6 weeks?

A little bit earlier, 3 months in advance, but we were planning TTC in January at first, then our plans have changed.
I feel fine on all those supplements, i just don't like the weight and muscles, even if that is not that much. Feel like "fertile Hulk":)

You can if you want to, but you don't HAVE to, esp. if using nutritional yeast.

At some point though, enough is enough. I understand the temptation to want to take everything one has ever heard of but it's not necessary. More isn't always better and it may end up screwing things up to take everysinglething you ever heard of.

There's ALWAYS something else to take, but at some poitn it's just enough is enough. These super ultra megadoses may actually be HARMFUL even if you're gettng them from lots of diff. sources so just stick with what you're already doing!
