Auzair just look at the cough syrup label it should contain guaifenesin 400 or + in it. There are generic brand ones too but that is the chemical that you are looking for that loosens the mucus. Which is also what your CM is.

Hi there i ll be ttc boy in oct 2014 any tips from moms of boys :) i m mother to a girl

Hello.. I have 2 boys and am now trying for a girl! Ive always eaten very well. Balanced diet and large meals. I ate lots of colourful fruits & veg, eggs, fish, red meat white meat and whole grain pastas and rice. Always ate breakfast usually porridge or wholemeal toast. Didn't drink much caffeine. Drank a couple of times a month (binge drank on a night out). I rarely went hungry! I also BD most days whether trying or not so I am now BD once every 4 days instead. When ttc I took all sorts of vitamins and supplements to increase feetility and used preseed. Hope this helps. Good luck x p.s what did you do for your girl!

Pop star I'm from the UK too! And starting the diet officially tommorrow!
Just done my food shopping list and Included so many diff things that I don't normally have and missed off a lot of high nutrient foods that I always eat!
Ur current diet sounds like mine also so it's a big change but can't wait to start and also doing lots of cardio too! I've just signed up for a half marathon which should help!
I'm not sure how to post links I'm so sorry but just wanted to say hi from a fellow uk swayer! :)

Hello!! Do you have children already? What sort of things have U bought for your diet? Ive only been doing it a few weeks but I am now tending to live off of white bread ham/cheese sandwiches for lunch with a rice crispies square or something after if I want something sweet.. Coke zero, red bull sugar free, sparkling water with canderel in through the day. Then for tea veggie burgers with pasta and passata or with a knob of butter. I am not having veg with my evening meal as I usually would.. I lace everything with it normally to get it in to DH and DS 1 [emoji23] a couple of times a week I will have veg but tend to opt for things like courgette, mangetout, cabbage! Ive not really varied from that (apart from my many cheat days [emoji35]) so any ideas you have Id really appreciate!
Oh.. I am taking 1400mcg folic acid per day and aspirin a few times a week and DH takes olive leaf extract and licorice root and we are BD every 4 days!

I've struggled with the weekly shop this week it will prob just take me a while to have the knowledge of what to eat! But because I'm trying to go as much vegetarian as I can I have ordered quite a lot of veg ! You now have me thinking maybe I shouldn't have done!?
I have checked all the friendly food lists and stuck to things like leeks cauliflower asparagus .. I've also ordered low salt low sugar baked beans to have with baked potato , I am still eating fish as I do love salmon and mackerel so hoping that will be ok ... I'm just trying to stay within in my limits at the moment for the day really..
I haven't ordered any supps yet as didn't know what to order! I'll get onto that this week too..

I have two boys 4&1 so this will be the last as we're just moving house and don't really want to move again so really want to give this sway my all! [emoji120]

I've just switched to no sugar black coffee this morning from my normal two sugar breakfast tea this will take some adjusting ! But I'll get used to it :)
Hoping to see some pounds drop off which will keep me going xxx

No you're right veg is good! I have chosen not to as i tended to eat so much of it before so trying to mix it up a bit to shock my body a bit I guess. But I haven't cut it out completely I just tend to get most of my calories from carbs.. & alcohol [emoji48] instead of no sugar have canderel (If you can, I know aspartame makes some people feel poorly) as that has an acidifying effect which sways girl! I have laid off of potatoes and tend to opt for pasta now but I haven't cut potato out altogether. I have also cut back on onion and garlic as I used to use it in a lot of my meals in the evening. If I eat fruit I have strawberries or raspberries with canderel and I also have fat free Greek yoghurt with strawbs and canderel too.

Same as me being my last.. Id have more if we could afford it but we can't (NHS nurse) and he's a builder/gas fitter.

I also may as well have shares in gap and Zara for the kids so perhaps if I stopped going so mad in there then I could afford another [emoji12] constantly hiding things before he gets in [emoji10][emoji72]

But no he's adamant we can have a third as we would both love a daughter but if not it obviously wasn't meant to be but I want to do anything to help swing it in our favour.

LE is good for me too as I still have an extra 2 Stone to shift since having the boys! I went mad with my first and never lost it all then had my second; so it's coming off slowly! Xx

Yea I've cut out bananas and cut down on potatoes!
Ok so pasta seems to be a good carb as its empty of nutrients is that right?
I'm going to get some candarel then! Yes I heard aspartame sways pink a little too .. I'm going to see how I get on with my calories and if under then il start drinking Coke but I've never drank fizzy drinks in my whole life so it'll be a new thing for me ! My body will be like be like coffee and Coke what's happening here?! But that's good though ...
I expect will be get into the swing of things soon!
Just come back from a 5 mile run aswell which was 50 minutes so started my cardio now too!
Ps second the spending in gap and Zara aswell & hiding it from other half!
I thought that is so me when I read it!! [emoji16]

Hi ladies,
I am also in the UK and reading this with anticipation. I have only started spacing out my meals so I eat 3 meals a day and skip breakfast. I am also skipping cereal which I used to eat a lot before and drink peppermint tea which I love.

How does your LE daily menu look like?
Just dreading the part when I start counting the calories and all the nutrients (protein etc) and I can't seem to have any ideas of how to manage it.

Hello, welcome!

Firstly, download the my fitness pal app... Lifesaver! You can set your nutrition goals for the day on there.

If im honest my menu is really samey! I have a white bread sandwich with unsalted butter, ham and Philadelphia light for lunch. Sometimes I'll have a yoghurt or a little lunchbox chocolate bar or something with it. For my tea ive been having vegetable burgers and such with pasta and low carb veg a few times a week. I am drinking coffee with canderel and drinking coke zero.

I drink with my meal most nights, usually a glass or 2 of wine to use up calories but spirits have had good results.

I take aspirin a few times a week (not recommended really now but I do it anyway after reading it helps with implantation) I take lots of folic acid also. DH takes licorice root for up til obulation and olive leaf extract all cycle long.

I do have weight to lose so restricting calories and fat is ideal for me, I was doing slimming world previously. Hardest thing for me is cutting out all the fruit and veg and I used to eat beef a couple of times a week either in a stew or spaghetti bolognese etc and Ive always eaten wholemeal bread and brown pasta.

I don't do the exercise bit though I really should! I have a 6 month old so it's difficult, ive just started looking for a carrier as going out with a pushchair where I live is a nightmare as we R in the middle of nowhere! Xx

In 4 days. My temp took a massive nosedive at 8dpo so I was hoping it was implantation but it's stayed right down which is odd. Pretty sure I'm not preg! I found out 5 days late with both (didn't test early as just didn't feel preg!) of mine and they were both born 5 days late too! Xx

Thank you Poptart, good tips! I love Philadelphia light so that would be my lifesaver especially when I have lunches at work, as I can restrict my food there easily, i.e. I eat what I have in my lunchbox and that is it, no more choices for me ;-)

Question, do any of you ladies weight how much butter or cheese etc you take? I used to do that when I was dieting to lose my pregnancy weight, but hate doing that. How else would we know though how much we eat?

No, with ideal fertility AND NOT on LE - no swaying, nothing - it takes fully fertile couples an average of 3-6 months to fall pregnant.
