Hi everyone!! So excited to find genderdreaming...I came over from IG and was very disappointed that a majority of people there said I would more than likely have a 4th boy...I have three boys ages 8,7 and 8 months. I have always wanted a girl from the start and with each pregnancy I thought I was having a girl..this last pregnancy I suffered HORRIBLE GD. To top it off, my sister just had a little girl and I felt defeated. Reading some of the forums I see that I may have been swaying for a boy without realizing it. I plan on purchasing the customized plans since the 4th baby will be our last one. I'm just praying that my lifestyle changes help influence the conception of a girl and not another boy (I have been going through counseling which helped me with my gd in the last pregnancy). I want to thank all of you lovely ladies who have given such great advice and hope!

Hi and welcome!! Not sure why IG women would say that to you other than they are kind of mean over there. The women here aren't like that at all. I think you will find more support here. I knew this site was for me when I started reading how to have a boy and thought... that is exactly what I did!! I hope you find the support you are looking for!!

Thank you!! There definitely seems to be a ton more information here vs over there. Even if I don't achieve having a girl, I will feel much better knowing how much more informed I am vs when I was pregnant with my boys.

Thank you!!! I'm hoping for a success story! So uplifting to read stories of women like me who have 3 boys and swayed for a girl and succeeded. I'm also glad my husband is on board because he also wants a little girl. I feel very good going in this time around...my boys were not really planned, they just happened. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason..maybe I was given my 3 boys first to help protect their little sister...idk but I'm happy I found this site!

Hi Hopingforaprincess - you are SO in the right place now! I have been through almost exactly the same as you (sister has a DD), also having counselling for GD.

Hi and welcome! We are kind of same boat..just that I have a little boy(3) and all my closed friends are pregnant with girls(will give birth this summer)...I'll DTD in August so hopefully will have some pink dust and help you with everything for your December dance :-)

Just out of curiosity why did they say that??? Everyone always has a chance of a girl even when they eat right off the boy diet! (otherwise there would never be any blue sway opposites, which there are!)

Idk why they said that...one girl said since I already have three boys my odds of having another one are up by like 30%. She basically was telling me don't even try since I had mentioned I had horrible gd with my third.

But after reading the success stories here...even if I don't conceive a girl at least I will know I truly did give it my all. I've already started my cardio to drop pounds and have been skipping breakfast because I was a huge breakfast person with my boys..hated skipping it.

I have to also say I firmly believe everything happens for a reason...I was talking to my sister yesterday who basically said she knows she's done (she wanted three) but she's very small and her body won't allow her to deliver naturally (she had two c sections). I believe there is a reason I have my three boys and if the next one is a girl it was meant to be.

There's every chance, I'm having a girl after 3 boys, ds3 is an ig "failed" sway ... He's perfect for our family :) good luck and welcome xx
