Hi everyone,

I have 2 lovely boys, 20months and 1month! and now I'm looking to plan my last baby and would dearly love a little girl to complete our family. I wouldn't swap either of my boys however I was surprised at how sad I have been that I've not got my little girl yet.......

We are seriously considering IVF/PGD (I can't believe DH has agreed to it) and I was wondering if anyone could give me advice please. I'm stillconsider ging trying naturally to sway for a girl but as this will be our last baby I'm not sure Im willing to chance it. What do you all think?

Thanks for your help!

I would say if you are both on board with TTC and can afford IVF/PGD. Go for it!!!! 😃

That's one of the things to consider is the financial factor. I'm saving madly and hope to have the funds to go to America in March next year. Thailand is much closer for me in Australia but I think the results in America are higher so it might be worth spending the extra money......

Have you signed up as a stem member? HT isn't an option for us but from what I've heard there's lots of adivice and support on the HT dream member boards. 😊

Hi MumofSix,

What's a stem member? You have 6 boys, I bet they're all so lovely as boys are! Are you doing the natural swaying for a girl?

Yep, I have adorable boys and would love a daughter. We are doing a natural sway and keeping everything crossed!! 😊

Lol! Yes I've signed up as a Dream Member. Hmmmm I'm wondering if we should go the natural way. We only want 1 more hence the reason we are thinking of going the HT route. We would much rather it happened naturally of course. Will this be your first girl sway? I hope you don't mind asking of course.

Of course I don't mind and yep it's our first time swaying. We've been swaying since Jan and had one loss in April but have had 2 attempts since then. Currently in the 2WW. 😜

Natural swaying is a tough process and still comes with no guarantees, but at least if we have another boy we know we did all we could (we can't afford HT with all the extra costs of having to travel and the time) and it was meant to be. 😊

We were thinking about swaying but hadn't started anything when I fell pregnant with our twin boys! Lol!!

Oh twin boys how wonderful!! I am very sorry to hear of your loss tho :broken: Hope you are doing well. I can imagine with 6 boys things are not cheap! We can only afford to do IVF/PGD once so I have to say after reading stories on here I'm not sure if it's the way to go.......perhaps we should try swaying too. These are tough decisions.

Hi Atomic Sagebrush,

Thanks for my welcome! Are you the person to speak with about the 'girl diet'? I'm thinking of trying to sway instead of doing HT because looking at 'boy' diets online I was totally swaying that way without realizing......

Welcome and goodluck whichever way you decide to persue your daughter. I was going to sway for a long time but have recently decided I don't want to chance it so will do PGD in a few years

As I look at the girl LE diet, I do almost everything it says and I have 3 daughters. It's definitely something to think about!

There is something to the diet for sure. I ate boy friendly with both of my boys and girl friendly with both of my girls. GL and I hope you get your DD!!!

Hi Hopingforaprincess, thank you for the welcome. Are you doing natural sway?

Hi WantingPink, that's so interesting about the diet because I was definitely swaying 'blue' without realizing! Did you find the same when you looked back on your diet? I'm starting to think I might try to sway doing the diet and following it step by step.

Hi, I've done a lot of research on the 'diet' aspect of conceiving and I really believe it has so much to do with boy or girl........now what to do!
