I know it's a bit early but I'm wondering when I may start showing...

This is my 4th pregnancy BUT this is my first pregnancy where I'm not obese. 2 years ago I had weight loss surgery and lost 117lbs. I had a tummy tuck/hernia repair 18 months ago. So I have a very flat tummy now. That mixed with this being my 4th pregnancy (and I swear that I saw/see a very small bump even before my BFP) and with my tummy being so flat I'm wondering if I will start showing early.

The reason for this "concern" is because we live very close to family and we are wanting to wait until I'm 11-12 weeks before announcing the pregnancy. I'm hoping to have the harmony/panorama test done before and know the gender before announcing.

I know there is no real way of knowing when I will start showing, I was just curious when ladies with 4th/5th pregnancies started to show.

I got the dreaded bloat so everyone is guessing im pregnant even tho I'm only 11 weeks. I think I made things worse trying to hide my belly (out of paranoia of looking fat not pregnant lol) so sort of gave the game away. It's really hard to say how your 'new' body will react, just don't make your cover up too obvious!

I managed to hide our pregnancy with DS6 for 6 months! Still not sure how I got away with it, but no one had any idea. 😉

I am 4w5d and my bloat looks like a bump. I am not obese but we shared the news because I tend to show early!

In the early weeks it is common to have a bloat bump. It will go away though and then typically women don't show until after 10 weeks for subsequent pregnancies. If you look pregnant before that...it's just bloat. Haha

We are moving back home (same town as family) in two weeks so any bloat or bump I may get I will blame on good home cooking until we share the news. I'm sure that won't be a lie either :-) Thanks ladies for the replies

I got super bloated almost right away with all of my pg except my first, but it tends to go away over time till you're actually showing. This has happened different times with various pg and I think it matters more where baby is implanted. My 4th and 5th pg I didn't show for awhile and they were both anterior placentas.
