OPK after clomid

Hi! I took clomid cycle days 5-9 and now I am cycle day 12. I want to know when is the most accurate time to take OPKs after the last clomid pill. I got a +OPK today (3 days after last pill) but I'm not sure if it's because of the clomid. My OBGYN said don't bother about using OPKs as everyone O's cd14 on clomid which I think is rubbish but I decided to test today as I don't want to miss a surge, it just surprised me to get a really dark +. Any feed back would be appreciated!

It's hard to say as clomid can give false positives. I personally think your OBGYN is incorrect all info i've found point to anytime between 7-10 days after the last pill. It wouldnt hurt to dtd just in case though.

Haha yes that's totally wrong info.

I would have you guys attempt today just to cover bases and then keep testing. You CANNOT miss a month on Clomid so even tho I do agree it may still be a faker, please have attempt

Me that everyone Os cd 14 I just thought whatever just give me the script LOL!! Will dtd and keep testing :)
