Trying to figure out if his fatigue is linked to the OLE or not. He is going through a lot of things right now so it is very possible his tiredness has nothing to do with the liquid. What brands did you all use?

I seriously doubt its related to the Ole. It is suppose to combat fatigue!! My husband was tired allllllll the time before he started on it and now he isn't and is in love with the stuff for that reason. Is there anything else he has been doing differently??

Yeah-he has some "stuff" going on and I just wanted to make sure that my sway tactics weren't contributing to his fatigue. A lot of his "issues" occurred right at the same time that I had him start OLE and change to soy milk. He's stopped the soy milk but is still really tired. I've told him to stop the OLE for a week to see if it makes a difference, but I'd really like for him to be taking it when we make an attempt in three weeks. I figure one week off and then 2 weeks back on should be ok, right?

My hubby and i both experience extreme fatigue and headaches with pain from taking OLE. OLE can cause herx reaction in people that are dealing with illnesses.
Herxheimers reaction
This reaction, not exclusive to olive leaf extract, is named after the men who first described it, Adolf Jarisch and Karl Herxheimer, dermatologists working on the treatmentofSyphilis in 1895.
It is an immune response to the release of toxins from pathogens which have been destroyed, in this case by the olive leaf extract.
Simply put, the reaction proceeds as follows:
1. Olive leaf compounds attack and damage the cells of a large number of pathogens.(disease-causing microbes)
2. The dead pathogens leak toxins, break down and are absorbed by surrounding tissues, which were already displaying symptoms caused by the infection of the pathogens inthe firstplace.
3. This increase in the concentration of toxins worsens the original symptoms and elicits a further immune response from the body causing histamine release, swelling and pain.
4. The body ramps up its detoxification and cleansing processes which may result in other uncomfortable symptoms.
5. As the overload of dead organisms is reduced and removed from the body, healing and a surge of energy and feeling of good health follows.
Drinking 4-6 glasses of purified water daily helps the body eliminate these toxins more quickly.

DH has been taking OLE in capsule form for 5 months straight now and hasn't had any issues. He's taking the Seagate brand, which is my best friend's dad's company! :)

I don't want to sell anyone's experience short, but I personally am skeptical that the Herxheimer reaction is being caused by OLE taken by normal healthy individuals (this is usually something seen with people being treated with antibiotics for life-threatening diseases like syphillis and Rocky Mountain spotted fever and Lyme disease) and some herbologists like to take an actual thing and stretch it to support their notions.
but like I already told Coffeepot, if she thinks it's causing her husband's fatigue, drop it and see what happens. I added it to my notes but no one else has reported it so far (I thought there were two but it was actually just Coffeepot twice LOL)

Ha! Thanks everyone! I just wanted to make sure no one else is having trouble with OLE. I was having guilt thinking it had anything to do with the herbs.

So, the mystery of hubby's fatigue has a more probable cause than OLE or Soy Milk. Long live my sway!!!

Was he dealing with an infection of some kind? Your description sounds similar to something my DH was dealing with too (fatigue plus other male issues). Glad the OLE wasn't causing it though as I'm looking to add that to our sway!

atomic- he's not on any supps yet. He's been dealing with reoccurring prostate infections and gets one about once a year.

ok so just to clarify, he was NOT on the OLE when he was feeling poorly??
having any kind of infection can knock you back to a greater or lesser extent, even mild ones. I've had a couple of mild bouts of mastitis that made me feel pretty sick even when it wasn't a real bad one. :/
