Hello ladies! I just had a quick question, do you think pizza is a really bad cheat for the LE diet? We usually do pizza once a week, and I love pizza!! Any pizza lovers still get girls?? Thank you!

I ate pizza about once a week while swaying... not even as a cheat! I added it into my daily totals for fat, protein and calories, and stuck with plain cheese or veggie, and usually only a slice or two. I think atomic said she ate a lot of pizza before conceiving her DD, as well.

If it's a cheat, go for what you really want, meat toppings or whatever. I saved those cheats for ribs and carnitas :)

Thank you! I had been on the diet for a bit and I think I took it too far, I was feeling dizzy and getting sick. I decided to go HT and it did not work, so I'm back on the plan, but this time I think I'm going to ease up a bit and not drive myself nuts!!

Thanks for the reply! I'm glad your sway worked!

I ate pizza. Would keep it to one or two small slices and not a meat lovers. Cheese or a little pepperoni is what I use to eat. Pepperoni is pretty crappy stuff:)

I dont have a DD like these ladies but I am doing the diet and I regularly eat pizza. A vegetarian pizza is a fine meal to have on the diet, you dont have to eat a massive one. The one I eat a lot is actually a chicken pizza but I can always fit it into my totals. Its a pizza express pollo pesto and is around 570cals, 30g protein and 12g fat so totally doable (I am doing 50-60g protein a day on the diet)

Remember there are no banned foods! It's just about balancing the calories, fat and protein in a way that works for you and your sanity

I make pizza using mountain bread wraps spread with hummus or basil pesto, LE veggies and low sodium cheese.

But I've also had my fair share of crust vegetarian pizzas whist swaying. 😊

pizza is good on LE Diet and is not a cheat provided you stay in overall limits for the day. I'd get veggie and stick with one slice and a salad.

If you want to keep it seriously low calorie then google "cauliflower pizza base" for an amazingly healthy pizza and make it with low fat mozzarella and lots of girl-friendly veggies :)

Foolproof Pan Pizza | Serious Eats : Recipes (http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2013/01/foolproof-pan-pizza-recipe.html)

Make this at least twice a month. Go light on the red sauce and low fat mozz, then pile on the mushrooms, bellpepper and zucchini!

I dont eat wheat and so make myself a cauliflower crust pizza every Friday night which is pizza in front of a movie night in my house... the only night my kids are allowed to eat in front on the tv!

I will keep to same recipe on LE but just not add my normal chicken as topping.

Will post the recipe soon!

You guys are all so healthy! I have 2 large slices of Domino's Brooklyn style pizza 2-3x per week on LE. 2 slices have 490 cals, 21 grams of fat and 22 grams of protein. I usually eat a lighter lunch so it fits into my totals fine. It's crappy for you and not how I normally eat but it tastes amazing and fits into my LE totals!

Oooh what's Brooklyn Style got on it then? for us Brits :) I'd love to fit Domino's into my totals but I often eat a whole large to myself so can't be trusted with portion control!

It's a certain "style" of pizza (like pan pizza, or thin crust, etc). It's somewhere between hand tossed and thin crust and they use less cheese so the calories are relatively low. I just recalculated to be sure, you can eat an entire 1/3rd of it for 490 calories which is so reasonable for 1/3rd of a large pizza! I get mine with mushrooms and green peppers. I did notice in the UK you guys have low fat cheese you can get at Domino's.. not fair, we don't have that here!

Also because I'm a pizza freak (and eat it all the time), I thought I'd share for everyone that in general the lowest calories/fat/protein pizzas have a few veggies on them and NOT just plain cheese. It seems they make up for the lack of other toppings by adding more cheese (so more fat, calories, protein). At Domino's and Pizza Hut in particular you do better having pizza with your favorite veggie or 2 rather than just plain cheese.

OMG. I'm so for a pizza right now..but nooooo, Ineed to hold on.
Whenever 8 want to eat something I LOVE but I'm not allowed, I think "this small thing" will turn into a buoy..so I immediatelly rethink and DONT eat :)))

It's never the small things - it's the overall diet as a whole, not any one meal! :)

So this means I can cheat for 2 slice of pizza once at 2 weeks(lets say?) :))
Better not!

Yes and if it's not outside of your totals for the diet, then it is NOT a cheat!
