:suprise:

Hello everyone. The last several days I have been reading all I can on these forums to educate myself. As stated in my previous post, my first month to TTC would be this August. If my cycle goes according to plan, I may start to ovulate August 13. I just had to book a flight that morning. How many days should I have sex before ovulation? Three to four days, right? So, I should be all fine and ready to go on my trip and hope conception will occur? Being that this is my first month to try, I'm nervous and just want to make sure I'm doing everything right. I was thinking about doing the lime tampon and douche method to keep the pH down, along with taking supplements. Also, I think I remember reading only having sex once (not multiple times) before ovulating to sway pink. Is this the case? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

Yes just once when you have a + OPK. So the morning you go or the night before I guess. The 3-4 day cut off might be too long to get pregnant and timing doesn't sway from what I've read :)

I feel as I have read some of the same things like timing doesn't matter but x sperm aren't any slower. Hmm.

Timing has been totally debunked and you have very slim odds of conception DTD 4 days before ovulation. If you absolutely MUST do cutoff, 2 days is best, 3 days not great but better than 4!!http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/7691-trouble-timing.html

We don't go in much for the lime stuff around here. You may as well take a birth control pill as do lime douche and tampon with a cutoff.http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/11684-ph-pickle.html

One attempt is getting great results for us so above all else I'd keep that in the mix.

I hope you are able to read the links I post because the explanations are in them. the data is undeniable that timing doesn't work and X and Y sperm are about the same size, swim the same speeed, etc.
