Hi every1 im currently in my 2ww im 10dpo and not feeling very good about this cycle because I already have af type cramps :( anyway im already planning for next cycle just incase and was wondering if anyone has ever used softcups? I guess u insert after dtd to try and help the most sperm get to the egg. Soo has any1 used it? What do u think about it??? This is my 3rd cycle ttc so im getting a little anxious since my first 2 were conceived quicker

Well I'm just going to give my honest opinion, but it seems to me that if you use the soft cup to keep the sperm in, isn't there a chance that you are blocking some of the sperm out? I did buy one (ages ago when I was swaying for my boy) but never used it. I was worried that all that squirming around to get it in place after dtd would do more harm than good.

They arent good for ttc a girl, it'd push the sperm closer to the cervix. Also when you sway girl you're lowering your fertility so it can take longer to get pregnant. Rather than add the soft cup is there anything you could remove from your sway that may help? (on a side note my ds3 took a year to conceive after his brothers took a month)

Just wanted to add that early af type of cramps were my first sign of pregnancy. So you're not out yet. Fingers crossed.

I do not recommend them for either pink or blue. They DO NOT keep sperm "in there longer", so much semen comes out when you are trying to insert them it's worse than if you had done nothing, and they can actually seal the cervix shut like a diaphragm and prevent sperm from entering.
The human race would have died out a LONG time ago if such a thing was necessary to conception. Lay flat for 15-30 min. and by that point all the sperm will have left the semen and gone into the cervix. Anything that comes out after that time is simply semen with dead/dying/bad sperm in it.

If you tell me what you are doing, I can tell you what to drop for better odds of conception.

Thank u for all the replies I will definantly not be using the softcup now.
Thank u drunken that makes me feel better. I dont remember having these type of cramps with the first two but they also say every pregnancy is different.
Atomic. I went hardcore with the cranberry and fiber and the diet. But the cranberry dried me up intercourse was painful so Ii dropped that and im a thin woman and I lost almost 10 pounds so I think that messed with my body. Now im just doing a loose sway just trying to skip breakfast snacking and big nono foods. Do u think that will b enough? Im just such sn impatient person in general and I hate that its taking so long. (I know 3 months isnt long ttc but it feels like s lifetime yo me :(

I wasnt, i'd not long come off the implant and I think it messed me up! We were also using opks and dtd when tht was positive and a few days after but didnt work, the month we conceived little man we were dtd every day (hubby was happy lol) At that stage i only knew about IG and it wasnt my cup of tea so went with nature :bluecheer: Don't be discouraged, 3 months seems a long time, especially when you're waiting, but try and see it as 3 attempts (sounds less lol). Even without swaying we have something like 25% chance each month. Don't lose hope it will happen

I never recommend cranberry and it can make cramping worse.
I can never tell someone "yes that is enough" because my crystal ball is broken down and we are waiting for parts from Outer Mongolia, who knows when they'll get here. :)
Is that really all you're doing? Just need to make sure you are not doing douching, jelly, timing, etc etc etc before giving advice
