Salsa safe in pg??

I just ate 1/2 a jar of salsa (store brand in a jar, not the fresh kind). My stomach has felt yucky this whole pg so far and can only stomach certain things.

Didn't think anything of it until I read a post online saying it can be contaminated with listeria???? Worried now!! You guys are always the voice of reason...please calm me lol!! Do any of you eat salsa in the jar??

Completely fine. If pg women avoided everything with even a possibility of listeria there would be nothing left to eat! Jarred salsa is very safe.

That's only fresh salsa and even then very rare.
