Hi everyone
Have just joined up after and am hoping I can get some assistance from other people who have started / have been on this journey!
I am a mum to two gorgeous wee boys aged 3 and 6 months. I live in Melbourne, Australia and my husband and I have decided we will investigate gender selection in the US after much discussion. We'd both LOVE a little girl to finish our family and this is the only way we figure we can get that outcome.
I think we will try and go with Dr Potter at HRC - but I'm curious about the pre-testing that has to happen beforehand. Has anyone done this from Melbourne before? Im not sure my GP will be that supportive and I'd like to go to see someone who has helped other couples through this process before. Any advice?
Thanks in advance!!

Can't help with your HT questions, I can only dream of being able to afford that, but you've found the best site for any advice and support! 😊👍

I'm from Melbourne and going to HRC in November. I've just done my pretesting bloods and AFC and I am having my sono tomorrow. My GP rewrote all my pretesting orders for me without any dramas.
Good luck!

Oh that is so great to hear!! Hope it all goes well for you. Just out of interest - when did you start the process with HRC? Just wondering so I can work out how far roughly to plan ahead ...

A kiwi/aussie thread sounds good. Would be good to both share and hear about other people's experiences from down under....

Welcome! All of the IVF info is in the Dream Member forums. They are private. If you upgrade your membership, you may access them and you will find several threads on cycling from Australia. HRC is a popular option. Once you are a Dream Member, you may schedule a free phone consult with Dr Potter and you get $1000 off your cycle so it's worth the $12!
Hope you'll join us. Here's the info about the consult- http://genderdreaming.com/forum/free-ivf-pgd-consult-request-forms/24572-link-contact-form-dr-potter-hrc.html

Hi there - thanks for the welcome! I actually upgraded my membership today and paid by PayPal. Just wondering when access to the private forums is granted?

eChecks have a 7 day hold via paypal but I just overrode it so you may now access the private forums. Access is fully automated but with an eCheck, they handle that differently. Anyway, welcome!
