I was just wondering if drinking coffee while ttc is ok? I drink 1 cup in the morning and thats all. I was not a big coffee drinker with my boys and I got pregnant quickly. Im now on my 4th month ttc and I use to drink much more but now its only once a day. So is it ok or should I skip it? Fyi im only 27 and healthy, I dont smoke and rarely ever drink.

I believe atomic says drinking coffee may sway pink.

I believe moderate to high coffee may sway pink and I credit it with at least part of my successful sway. low to moderate caff, I think neutral
Some of the old-school sites claim it sways blue, but the reason they give for that has been 100% debunked and I can explain more if anyone wants me to

Ok so 1 cup wont hurt ? What about during 2ww? Is it ok then?. I think im just worrying about the dumbest things just because its taking longer to conceive this time around.

I think one cup is fine for both safety and swaying pink or blue! Also ok in 2WW. I think we talked about this already but whatever is preventing conception, very unlikely coffee has anything to do with ti.

I drank 3 cups a day until BFP. Then I cut back to one.

It makes it SOOO much easier to stick to the diet! I think back to the old days back on Ingender and avoiding caffeine (or trying to, never managed to quite pull that one off) and sodium and being miserable and then STILL getting a boy anyway LOL. With my girl I drank coffee by the pot and ate salt all day long and it was really easy to do the diet. :)

I tracked today to see what my existing diet looks like on paper. I made a bogus my fitness pal account and tracked. I did great til dinner when I hate a eff-ton of cake lol but I was also really low on potassium :( it was eye opening... I'm not making any changes for a few days - just tracking.

Don't trust MFP for potassium, since many foods don't have it listed on the label many users enter it in as zero when in reality virtually all foods have at least some. Self.com has good potassium levels or what others do, is just make an effort to get a good chunk of potassium via coco water or fruit, then just leave the rest of it up to random chance. :) The important thing it that you're getting 2500 mg minimum because that's what your body needs to survive.
