I just thought i would start the July 2WW thread. This was my first cycle TTC a little girl, and hubby and I did a very aggressive sway, so I only think we have a 10% of actually being preggo this month. We DTD a few hours after getting a positive OPK, but I didn't end up ovulating until about 40 hours later, so I doubt any of the swimmers survived long enough in my inhospitable environment to fertilize the egg. Keeping my fingers crossed for an unlikely surprise, but already strategizing for our next attempt. Good luck to everyone else in the 2WW!

I didn't think I'd be here again--it's been two years TTC now, but a few months ago, my husband was hit with a scary case of epididymitis which would explain the low T he's had. We think it has been a chronic condition since his vasectomy reversal in June 2012. So, T is back up, and at 3dpo, I am cautiously optimistic. Over the last two, extremely disappointing, years, I am still optimistic! I've tried swaying, but have settled on a high degree of cardio, as I couldn't maintain anything else. We will see!

What a roller coaster Itester. Hoping you get your BFP this month and it's fantastic that you're still optimistic. Fingers crossed for you xx

I also wanted to wish everyone else here lots of luck! Waiting these two weeks can sure be hard, especially after a few months have gone by!

I always have pretty sore breasts the week before AF, but they became incredibly tender yesterday--is it possible to feel anything that soon? There wouldn't even be time for implantation, would there?

Hi ladies! I've been avoiding this board (for the most part) for the past 2 weeks, but now that I've had my attempt I can't stay away! Our attempt was last night, and I'm hoping I ovulate today. So I'm freaking 0 dpo... and already anxious. Luckily I'm going on vacation from 5 dpo-8 dpo so that will help me not to test on the days that are WAY too early.

I had a moderately strict sway (medium strict on diet, very strict on cardio - 60 minutes per day, 7 days a week, one attempt), but I'm starting to get too thin so I decided to skip all the other stuff (jellies, pills, J&D, hot bath, etc) because I just freaking want to get pregnant and stop losing weight. I've never had a BFN in my life (I didn't test until 10 DPO with DS and got pg right away), so I'm trying to mentally prepare myself to get a BFN but it will be hard!

I apologize for the super long intro and I look forward to getting to know all of you! GL Christi and Itester! Hope to see lots of BFPs for all of us soon!

FX for you bluebonnet and ltester!

Ltester, I've been having classic pregnancy symptoms, too, and I'm probably only 3dpo. I'm convinced it's all in my head. Lol! Or, who knows...maybe hormones are starting to surge already.

A lot of women don't have implantation bleeding and I don't get sore breasts with every pregnancy...If I do it doesn't come until 9 or 10 dpo for me so you are definitely not out yet!

July 6th, 2014, 08:19 PM
Hey everyone I am 1 DPO right now. I'm not super hopeful about this month as it is only our first month and we only BD 2-3 days before O. But still can't help but have my hopes up some so we will see!

Also I want to second what Rosie said I've never had implantation bleeding and I didn't get sore breasts until after AF was due so I wouldn't take that as a reason to say you are out.

Hopefully this thread will start filling up with BFPs soon!

bluebonnet22
July 6th, 2014, 08:43 PM
I will also add to what the other ladies said - I've only had one baby, but I didn't have any bleeding from implantation and I didn't have sore breasts my entire pregnancy. I literally had ZERO symptoms during the 2WW with my son. It was our first attempt so I didnt' know what to expect, and I told my husband literally every day "I can't be pregnant because I have ZERO symptoms".

Anxious to see what this 2WW brings for me (and all of us!). I think I felt ovulation symptoms today, so hopefully tomorrow is a big temp rise for me so I don't have to question whether I O'ed or not.

Welcome Ladies! Honestly, I had no symptoms with my first two pregnancies, either. Nor did I have any bleeding, so I wouldn't count yourself out myurkanin817!

And I take back my words about being cautiously optimistic... It's 2:45 AM and I can't stop thinking about it being a bfp. I know it's going to be a huge disappointment if I end up not being pregnant--I wish my brain could just hold off thinking about it all.

I'm right there with you! I'm really trying not to get my hopes up because we only BD 2-3 days before ovulation (I say it that way because we BD Thursday at 11am and Im pretty sure I Oed Saturday evening). It's also only our 1st month TTC although we've been talking about it for months. Last night I couldn't go to sleep thinking about it so naturally today I feel like crap. Before TTC I told myself I wouldn't get obsessed during the 2WW but I can't seem to stop myself. I'm already trying to decide when I'm going to "allow" myself to start testing. I know there's nothing I can do to change it now, I'm either pregnant or not and no amount of obsessing is going to change it but it's hard.

Itester and jamie I know how u both feel. Just had attempt last night and trying to be patient since my tww just started. I will not be testing until 11 dpo and the only reason I am testing then is because I leave for vacation the whole month of august and need to make sure I see my ob before then. Fx for all I really hope its our month. This is my 4th month ttc :)

I'm waiting until Monday to test. 12dpo. I would try earlier, but my 2 year old's b-day is on Sunday, and I want this week to be about him. He's my opposite sway, so this week has to be about boy love. :)

I can't decide when to test--I've tested so many times over the last two years, I almost can't bear it anymore. It feels possible it could be a bfp this time, though--I think we have our problem figured out, and I have never had sore breasts this early when not pregnant. I'll see how the week goes... If my regular PMS flares up, I will just wait for AF, otherwise I think Saturday will be my day--10dpo. Girliedreamz, you and I are on the same schedule (have a fun birthday weekend, btw!). Fingers crossed for you all!

Please pray for me. I had the worst AF cramps all day yesterday, a headache, felt like a cold coming on....today I have the tiniest headache and no cramping! I've had sore boobs for a few days and thought this was a great sign of higher progesterone whether I'm pg or not (last time TTC my boobs were sorer during the unsuccessful months but this month is the first I've had noticeably sore boobs).

Yesterday I felt ever so slightly sick when I ate (which didn't stop me lol), this morning I've felt very very slightly sick again since eating breakfast. I can't believe I am getting my hopes up, I'm really setting myself up for heartbreak :(

Sorry but I have no one to talk to about this, when I told DH about the AF cramps yesterday he was really disappointed. Just glad to come and get it off my chest.

Oh Stephk, thanks so much for sharing. This is certainly a forum where we all understand disappointment and the feeling of getting our hopes up, and I'm so sorry you are feeling low right now. You're 10dpo, right? Many have gotten bfns earlier than that--have you decided when you are going to try? And remember that all of the AF symptoms are so similar to early pregnancy.

Fx for you--will be anxious to hear how your test goes when you do it.

Thank you. I believe I am 9dpo today. Last month AF came when I believed I was 10dpo. So I don't want the double pain of BFN and AF I may as well just wait for AF.

I know when I was pg before I thought AF was coming too - as you rightly say symptoms are the same. Just trying to prepare myself for the disappointment. DH has said next time we have to have more attempts and I'm inclined to agree.

Speaking of hunger, it's completely normal to feel very hungry during your 2WW (pregnant or not). Progesterone is responsible for a rise in hunger while estrogen (during the first half of your cycle) helps with feelings of satiety. I was miserable and could NOT LOSE WEIGHT on the POP. I researched it some and apparently the progesterone (and lack of estrogen) in them can cause you to feel crazy hungry and never feel satisfied with food. UGH

Anyways, I say all this to remind myself as well that being hungry constantly in the 2WW is normal and doesn't mean we are gluttonous fatties :)

Jamie86
July 8th, 2014, 09:33 AM
That makes a lot of sense bluebonnet! I always have a "hungry week" before AF where I either eat so much I get mad at myself or I'm just freaking starving all the time. And then after AF arrives I have to remember to eat.

I think I'm getting sick right now which sucks! I've had a hard time sleeping but I'm exhausted. My stomach is bothering me a lot. I've been feeling nauseous and bloated and have been having to make frequent trips to the bathroom. I don't think these are pregnancy symptoms as I'm only 3DPO so I guess maybe that's good because now I won't spend the next week over analyzing every "symptom" because I know I either have or am fighting some sort of sickness.

I decided to test again today and so far it is a bfn so I am assuming I am not preg. We are not trying again until Aug after we have moved to Phoenix. Can't believe I am moving again but this time I am staying put. I am going to buy a few extra frer today and not even bother with the cheap ones.

I said I wasn't going to read into "symptoms" but I have gotten over my sickness from earlier this week and now I'm back analyzing everything. I have had a lot of watery discharge (like I have to wear a panty liner), I've been crying about everything and despite losing 3 lbs I'm bloated and have a lot of gas. This is how I've felt before in early pregnancy (as in before BFP) however last year I had an experience where I felt this way and was convinced I was pregnant but then AF came (a couple days late). I didn't want to be pregnant at the time but now I trust myself less. I wasn't super hopeful about this cycle but now I find myself more hopeful and a little worried about my hopes being dashed. I'm trying to see both outcomes as positive. If I'm not pregnant we won't have to deal with the "birthday issue" (if I am pregnant right now I'd be due the day of or 1 day after DS1s birthday) and if I am then Yay!

Symptoms get into your head so easily during this dreaded 2WW and you think everything is a possible sign and its either that or a let down. Like me for example I promise you I could eat EVERYTHING in my fridge and still be hungry, Im bloaty, theres angry mood swings, and the past few nights those awful vivid dreams you cant shake when you are pregnant. I told my hubby I better get a BFP next week because then at least I have a logical explanation for trying to devour all the groceries in the house lol

Yesterday I was convinced she was coming, was constantly checking in the loo, had AF cramps on and off etc. Today my temp is up again - WTF!? My OPK is still neg but darker, and on a PG test I have a situation where my eyes are playing tricks but deep down I think it's neg. if no AF by the time I finish work I'm tempted to buy a digital.

Blessed. You can have nausea 4 dpo. It could be either progesterone or pregnancy related or both. When I'm pregnant my progesterone symptoms are always intensified compared to when I'm not.

Congrats to everyone with a BFP. I am so happy (and a little sad) today. My very best friend in the whole wide world since I was 5 years old just got a BFP (she wasn't swaying). I am 11 dpo and tested this morning (I know, it is still a little early), and got a BFN. Obviously, I am genuinely thrilled for my friend, but I was so hoping we would get preggo the same month, but it looks like it won't happen given the fact that when I was preggo with DS I got a positive on 11 dpo. AF isn't due until Monday, so I will retest then if she doesn't show up, but it is still a bit of a bummer.

My friend and I were really lucky, entirely unintentionally, we had our first boys 11 days apart. It was awesome because they were doing all the same stuff at the same time and we were having the same challenges and celebrations around the same time. I was just hoping to get to do that again for babies #2.

On the flip side, I was invited to interview for my DREAM job this week (it's a long shot, but still an interview is the first step to getting it), so if I get the job, it might be better if I am not pregnant. So its a bit of a mixed bag for me today.... sigh....

I'm really hoping feeling like I'm going to start AF any minute when I'm only 6DPO is a good sign. I'm cramping and my back and legs are hurting which usually means AF is coming but it's not time for that yet.

Hey Christi, I only got my BFP today at 12dpo with a digital. The cheapies were bfn today and yesterday. With my DS I had faint positive lines on 11dpo. Go for that interview regardless! Good luck!

Jamie - fingers crossed it's implantation :)

July 11th, 2014, 05:46 PM
Oh, absolutely, I am going to the interview, regardless--I worked until the day before I went into labor and I'm sure that I will do the same thing this time around.

Steph, thanks for the pep talk about the negative result, it is still early, and I was using a cheapie so Monday may be a different story. (And of course, congrats on your BFP!!!!) But I still have an intuition that I'm not preggo this go round. We aggressively swayed for our first month TTC, so it's not like I've been getting BFN for months on end or anything. We might loosen a select few things for TTC month #2 (like increasing the time between repHresh and the attempt), but I will have this child for the rest of my life, so being patient to try to do the best (and reasonable) sway possible is important to me. I will be happy to have a healthy baby of any gender (since this is our last), but I want to know in my heart that we did everything reasonably within our power to sway for a girl.

Swaying reminds me of this prayer that my mom used to have hanging on her wall--
"God, God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference."

While we are trying to NOT be all Martha (at least for TTC pink), we do want to change the things we can (diet, supplements, pH, frequent release, one attempt, etc...), we also have to accept the things that we cannot change. May we all have the wisdom to know the difference!!

Good luck to everyone!

Hmmm.... so I just got a teeny tiny spot of dark brown dried looking spotting tonight (11 dpo)... maybe implantation spotting?? AF doesn't usually start this way for me so it is definitely something different. I'm trying not to read too much into this, but this is my first sort of symptom that might be a glimmer of pregnancy. Cautiously optimistic........ come on BFP!!!!! (Om, om, om, going to my zen place of patience and serenity so I am not peeing on a stick every time I go to the bathroom, LOL....)

That sounds really promising, Christi! I hope this is it for you! Are you going to try and test early?

Still trying not to get my hopes up too much so I am not testing, and it will be a happy surprise if AF doesn't show. I have never still had sore breasts for this long (and as early as I did) when not pregnant, but it feels too much to hope for after such a long journey. Thanks for sharing the Serenity prayer, though--I needed that!

I know I said I wasn't testing this weekend, but spurred on by steph's bfp and the thought that there will be tons of drinking at ds's birthday party, I broke down and tested this morning. ohmigosh, the faintest of pink links with the frer! I feel almost silly posting a pic as I could just barely see that second pink line in person, and I'm not even sure if its showing up on the pic at all. Somehow, I need a stronger line to convince me it's real. Lol! But I'm feeling cautiously optimistic today. :D

I'm still in the 2ww... I have been trying to wait, as I know it is pretty hard not getting a bfp. Yesterday was a tough day for me--lots of interactions with baby related things--and I feel a little silly feeling optimistic when so many months have come and gone. Yes, this month feels different, but I guess it would be a miracle for it to be. I'm trying to just assume it's a negative so that I won't be disappointed, but I know it will still be hard.

That said, I am so thrilled for all of you who are getting your bfps. For some reason, it isn't hard to get your good news, probably because you all understand the deep desire of this.

I'm 8DPO right now and I've been feeling pretty crappy. DH is working nights, he hasn't in a long while and I'm not good with schedule changes so that could be it. But this morning I caved and used one of my IC pregnancy tests it's a "sure predict" that says it detects 10miu. I thought I saw a "hint" of a line so I put it on countdown to pregnancy and so far the vote is 70% positive (with 21 votes). It's definitely nothing I would call a BFP so I probably shouldn't have tested because now my hopes are way up. (I dumped the pee while it was developing because I really thought there was no way anything would be on it so I'm trying to hold my pee to take a FRER later). http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/14/vadatuva.jpg

Jamie86

And now looking at that pic on here I realize it's really not noticeable at all. In person I can see it and if you play with the tools on countdown to pregnancy you can see it but I definitely think if you have to work that hard it's not a BFP but I'm anxious to test again.

Good luck Jamie! I "think" I might see something, but I didn't have good results with SurePredict (evap line or false + for me) so I'd try a FRER asap.

I learned yesterday that my best friend (who has 2 boys and swayed for 7 months) went in for her big 12 week appointment on Tuesday and there was no heartbeat. :( She had a D&C on Thursday and is devastated. She asked me to update her sway in the post your sway section so I just did. I'm so sad for her as we had hoped to be pregnant together. She had all the signs of a healthy pregnancy and can't believe this happened to her. :(

I'm still in 2ww I'm 7dpo but had a massive temp dip this am but I think it's because I had a rubbish sleep and was up at 4am then took temp at 6.15 when I woke again which can muck it up. I've also still got some very small brown discharge on wiping. I'm not convinced this month at all as my temps were slow to rise and I was bleeding for a couple of days bright red straight after ovulation. I'm going on holiday on Saturday for a week and AF is due (how annoying) so I really hope she doesn't show! Plus I've trapped a nerve in my back so that had better get better before sat too! Congrats on all the BFP's looking forward to seeing some more fx for us all!

Ltester - I am so sorry AF came. Does this mean your LP is shorter?

Jamie - hang in there, my cheapie test was negative on Friday although there was eye trickery going on so I bought a digital and got a positive. I retested using a cheapie today and there was a positive faint line :) it's still early for you.

Essnce I am so, so sorry to hear about your friend. She must be so devastated and she is lucky to have you as a friend. It must be so shocking and heartbreaking to go through. Please send my hugs and prayers to her.

Girl dreaming - at around 7dpo apparently there is a burst of estrogen and this might result in a temp dip, or it could be implantation. I had a mass panic at around 8dpo as my temp dropped hugely, I tought AF was coming early too as I was in so much pain. My temp was back up the following day and must have been implantation. My temps are always slow to rise after O too. Don't count yourself out yet (easier said than done I know!)

Well, i'm almost certain I am out. AF is due tomorrow, but I finally did an early prediction test which says it is 98% accurate 1 day before your expected period and it was definitely a big fat negative. I knew we did an aggressive sway this month, so I tried not to get my hopes too high but it is still disappointing, especially because my very best friend got preggo this month and it would have been sooooo cool to have almost the same due date. (Our first children are only 11 days apart, and it was so awesome!)

Essence, I feel so bad for your friend, and I really empathize about how you feel about losing the opportunity to be pregnant with your friend. Who knows, she could get pregnant again in a few months and you could still be pregnant together.

Ltester, so sorry to hear about AF. I am pretty sure I a going to feel the full force of your disappointment tomorrow or the next day when aunt flo is due to rear her ugly head.

I'm sorry to hear it, Christi. It is amazing how disappointing it can be, and I totally understand wanting to time your pregnancy with your friend. Another month or two won't make a huge difference in the long run, though.

I was surprised about the three day early arrival--very unusual for me. I am 27/28 days, like clockwork. I'll have to be better about tracking my ovulation, although I've not had great luck accurately reading the little sticks. Hmmm... Something to ponder!

So this happened! I had counted myself out for the month because I was spotting after DTD (twice!). I for sure thought there was no way... My sway was kinda messed up. We jumped the gun and did a day before +OPK, I douched and we DTD right after, when we were supposed to wait an hour (DH couldn't hold it!!). He spilled SYLK all over me, so I thought for sure all his little ones are done!!! Lol

So yesterday I was feeling a lil off and decided to take an IC, and I saw a shadow! I went to buy a FREPT and saw a shadow too... I tested this morning (like at 4 am, I couldn't sleep!) and there it is... it's faint but it's there!!!

And guess what?!?!? I HAD BREAKFAST!!!!! I had a big fat bagel with tons of REGULAR cream cheese!!! LOL, I know I'm a lil delirious, no sleep, and I have an interview this AM!

I did want to ask, today is 15 dpo and line is faint... that's not a bad sign is it??

Blessed in that case you have a great chance - I was also only doing diet, exercise and one attempt at positive OPK. It's so horrible each unsuccessful month, I totally get it. Book something nice involving your favourite drink and/or food in advance. That way if AF comes, you can indulge and if not you can cancel and not care. This month I had booked an unlimited bubbles afternoon tea and had ordered lots if rose champagne. So if I had been disappointed yet again at least I would have something to look forward to! OMG - looks like I am accidentally in the 2WW!

I am half way through my last cycle before we make a first pink sway attempt during my next cycle. I have been using this month as a test i.e., supplements, diet & OPKs etc as I wanted to be familiar with everything and not stressing during my proper attempt next month.

DH and I have had unprotected DTD inc. a couple of withdrawals this cycle and after the last time Sunday we planned to use protection as it will be then 10 days before my normal O date (I have been charting for the last 8 months and can now normally predict within a day or so). I felt fairly confident his sperm wouldnt stay around for 10 days!

HOWEVER on Monday (yesterday ) I had side pains and low back ache so on a whim I took an OPK.... it was blaring glaringly POSITIVE. I now believe that O is EIGHT days early and I can only assume that either diets or supplements have caused this.

If so it means I around 11pm DDT (no withdrawal - me on top... sorry for TMI) on Sunday night just before a positive OPK at 11am on Monday morning! So I am guessing this is going to be classed as an attempt even if I didnt plan it as so :-(

I am disappointed as l was all geared up for an attempt next cycle. Now worried that if I am pregnant I wouldnt have been doing everything for long enough. I have been on LE diet for 4 weeks and both me and hubby (OLE, Soy & LR) have been taking supplements for just over 2 weeks.

Nothing I can do about it now so guess I will just have to wait and see.

Im in this with you for a couple of weeks ladies!

Thanks StephK! Yes I think you are right - I plan to carry on exactly as if this oops hasnt happened i.e., carrying on with diet, supplements etc with the view that next month is my first attempt month.

However, I know I will be unable to resist taking a test in about 10 days... I am already feeling that 2WW itch!!!

What do we think evap line? I took the test then had a quick shower but was probably over 5 mins. I'm not feeling great really nauseous this am but think that's because of my sore back I've got a bulging disc! Any opinions welcome girls!

Thanks for the messages I'm only 10dpo and I'm still not sure I believe but got a sensitive superdrug test to use tomorrow morning so we will see then! Deep down id be so thrilled but I need to try and not get too carried away :/ blessed you should test too your nearly the same dpo as me! Bit worried thou as I've been knocking back the paracetamol and ibuprofen from my bulging disc in my back hope I've not done any damage! :/

Girl dreaming - Congrats on the bfp!!!
Nahia - sorry about AF, hope August is your month
Tania - I'm so sorry for your chemical, hope next month you get a sticky bfp!

I tested today in the afternoon (10 dpo) and BFN. Trying not to get discouraged because I know it's early, but I did use FRER and I think there's only a 30% false negative rate at this stage. Looks like odds are this isn't my month! I will be testing again tomorrow (11 dpo) with another FRER but don't expect anything to change. I'm nearly positive I'm taking August off because we are leaving for a big Europe trip at the end of the month next month and would be nice not to be pregnant in Europe. I'm due to ovulate the first day of the trip over there, so would be fun to conceive a baby on vacation. I'm trying to do my best to see the silver lining of my BFN this month. :)

Girl dreaming im sure ur bfp will b darker tomorrow!!!
Idk if im going to test in the am because im having af style cramping :( ive read it can b an early sign of pregnancy, but its never been a good sign for me :(

Blue its still early its still possible u implanted later or even today and u dont have enough hormoone in ur urine

Rosie85
July 16th, 2014, 08:41 PM
Blessed if your opks are getting darker it's going to be a positve pregnancy test. The cramps are from pregnancy. I am getting terrible af style cramps as we speak and have since before I tested.

This was FMU on a superdrug sensitive one. My urine wasn't that concentrated as I was thirsty when I went to bed and drank a fair bit. I do think it's positive! I'm having terrible pain on my breastbone I think it might be heartburn but I've never had it before. It doesn't travel up it's just there coming and going and really painful! along with my bulging disc in my back I'm finding it difficult to be really happy as I'm in so much pain and I'm trying not to take any pain relief. Blessed I also did a OPK this am just to see and that was positive so maybe you should test?

Bluebonnet - 10dpo is still early I didn't get a BFP until 12dpo and that was a digi.

Girl dreaming congrats again, fab that the lines are getting darker :)

Blessed I can't wait for you to test!!! AF cramps can also be a sign of pg, good luck!

I am flying to Zurich at 1pm today for my friends wedding so I will likely not be back here until Sunday night unless there is wifi - looking forward to lots of BFP news :)

Omg ladies im so scared to get my hopes up. LAST NIGHT I HAD A DREAM I had 2 bfps and in the am I decided to test but used an opk first. Opk was lighter then yesterday :( but then dcided to use a frer anyway and I thought I saw something. Ladies this is 4th month ttc im use to 1 line period. There was a fainter tgen faint second line!!! But so faint its hard to see irl ouldnt get a pic... then I decided to test again using smu and again!! A fainter then faint second line!!!! Im so excited but scared because its so faint. Im only 10dpo and with ds2 I had a faint line at 14dpo so that part gives me hope.
Do u think I could b pregnant ???? Even with extremely faint squinters??? And lighter opk??

Rosie85
July 17th, 2014, 09:46 AM

Girlie - congrats, that's a great line!
Blessed - a line is a line, especially that early!! Congrats to you!!

11 dpo this morning for me, and BFN with FMU. I think statistically speaking it's 90% chance I'm out, and at this point I just want AF to start so I can stop being hopeful! I've decided to buy myself a few new clothing items if AF shows to cheer me up. I've never been this tiny before (US size 4) and since we aren't attempting again for 6 weeks I could actually get some wear out of them for a couple of months (or more) before getting fat again!

Realise it took a few days of BFNs to get to the BFP but how cool! I really hope you get something conclusive tomorrow and it sounds like you will!

Blue - sorry to hear about the bfn, I agree definitely treat yourself to nice clothes. I am enjoying wearing a few smaller items too while I can :)

I'm at this hotel and there are mini bottles of prosecco in the mini bar and really well priced too :( of course I can't hVe one as I will have one or two at the wedding, can't overdo it. Keshet - try not to worry.... was it the same type of test, same time of day i.e., try to avoid FMU

Considering I am having an 'Oopps' 2WW I am now driving myself crazy with symptom spotting!! I am only 5/6 dpo and have ordered some cheapo tests off the internet which should arrive on Wednesday when I am 8/9 dpo.... which will then commence the crazy daily POAS until a + or AF!

One minute I am convinced I am and the next I am sure I am not. I am very aware that at this stage even if I had caught an egg I would prob not implant for a day or so and so any 'signs' are in my head. So far I have backache, cramps, loads of creamy CM and boobs which hurt from the front whereas my normal PM chest ache is on the side. Temps have been rising steadily since O until today when had a big dip.... I am hoping they are all back up tomorrow.

I am seriously driving myself insane! Anyone else on the crazy train with me?!

The tests that I used that were either hard to see or later blank were the dollar store tests. I had taken an early response test that said pregnant 1-2 weeks. But the dollar store one today looked pretty negative to me. I also had some spotting today.

I retested this morning with my fmu. But the dollar store test takes about 5 minutes to show a faint line. I wonder if the clearblue is detecting a chemical or ovidrel? Could the ovidrel still be in my system after 2 weeks? Why are the dollar tests taking so long and why so faint?

I think the dollar store tests tend to take longer and the lines are usually not very dark. I'd try a FRER. Hopefully you'd get a much darker line on that.

I have to tell you, with this pregnancy, the dollar store ones took forever to come up. Even though I had done like 100 other tests (FRER, digitals, etc), I kept testing with $store and for the first 3-4 days they gave me a mini stroke every time. Took forever to come up, came up faint. I ended up going and buying more FRER because I was so paranoid.

I don't know how long ovidrel is in your system (or what it is, for that matter). Did you ever get a neg before your first pos here? Did that make sense?

Anyway, I hope it's not a chemical and your lines get darker and more reassuring.

Good luck!
