View Full Version : Does giving birth on a leap year lean more towards pink or blue or does it not matter?

Hello,

I gave birth to my daughter in 2012, which was a leap year and now my son is due in 2014, not a leap year and I was wondering whether giving birth on a leap year leans more towards pink or blue or whether it actually does not matter at all. Just curious if this was ever considered in any surveys done.

Thanks a bunch

IT does not matter one iota. That is not how gender swaying works. Your body has no idea that a year is a leap year or not. EVery year is 365 and 1/4 of a day long (all of them) and it's simply that every 4 years we add that day to our calendars to keep them "honest". IT is not any kind of natural thing that our bodies can sense in any way.

Agree with AS - don't see how this could sway at all! My eldest boy was born in a leap year - was 8 days overdue on Feb 29th and spent all day nervous as didn't want the baby born that day!

I am 99,99999 % sure that it does NOT matter! :kissy:

Even these "Lunar-Jonas" calenders do not make sens to me. On the german forum all the girl rely on this method and the outcome is always 50:50.
