Does anyone have a resource/link to the optimal ranges for swaying for girls or boys?

Have you read the PH pickle thread http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/11684-ph-pickle.html

the apparent ph's needed are 4.5 for a girl and 7 for a boy (off the top of my head) Although it seems more and more apparent that PH doesnt necessarily sway at all.

Thanks for the replies guys. I hadn't seen that thread at all. I don't know if it's just me or the search function/indexing on this site but I find it very hard to weed through all the information or locate pertinent information.

Ratcliffe1811: If PH doesn't seem to sway at all, is it all just a matter of timing (as in O+12)? I'm very new to this idea of swaying and while some things seem obviously ridiculous (putting girl clothes under the bed etc.) others sound plausible to me (i.e. PH). What methods are you trying?

There is the complete index where you will find everything. Timing doesn't seem to be swaying. More 1 attempt for a girl and multiple attempts for a boy. I'd start with the diet stuff.

If I were going to start swaying tomorrow I'd do - Le diet with fibre and folic acid sups, exercise 60 mins cardio per day, olive leaf extract or licorice root for DH, and one attempt.

All the best with planning your sway :)

No one believes in the girl clothes under the bed, it's just for fun. :)

RE pH, the old school sway tactics have 4.5-5 is for pink (or even lower) and then 8 and up for blue. It doesn't seem to work though and I've just seen too many opposites conceived going both ways to believe it any more. When I looked into the biology of it, it proves to be impossible that it could work in the simplistic way that the pH theory suggests.

No one really knows what is swaying. If we did, we'd all be filthy rich LOL. There are tons of theories, some of which are in contradition with each other. I think the Trivers Willard hypothesis, Maternal Dominance Hypothesis, the blood sugar stuff, and my Fertility Theory make the most sense. Basically the idea that couples in good condition with lots of good nutritious food coming in and who are super high in fertility have the most boys, and that dominant people also have more boys (both aside from condition and in concert with it.) There are other theories out there too like hormones, ions, etc. but I think that people can't see the forest for the trees - if you do things to reduce your condition and fertility just a bit, the details will sort themselves out.

Timing doesn't work either and if you had to pick timing vs. pH - go with pH!!! Timing is a crock.http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/7691-trouble-timing.html

Oh wow, it's great to hear all your opinions. I fear I may have jumped the gun a bit, as I already ordered the ovacue monitor - thinking that I needed it for timing. I will definitely try all of your suggestions.

We have one boy and we would *like* to have a girl. With him we just stopped using birth control and waited to see what happened, I was pregnant within a month. I'm pretty much willing to do anything other than setting up an amateur lab (sperm testing and spinning) in my bathroom.

Ha! You are right Atomic Sugarbush, you would be filthy rich if you guys had it all figured out! I think I'm just very naïve because I imagine that most everyone on the forums sounds like they know what they're talking about - and I assume the smart thing to do is follow.

Is the LE diet the same on as I've seen in on online PDF "book" called 'In-Gender'?

No, InGender is different than Gender Dreaming and you can read a bit about that here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/7507-ig-vs-gd-swaying-whats-difference-who-atomic-sagebrush-anyway.html

The Ovacues are good tools, just that they're not necessary (and I'm cheap as Uncle Scrooge so I like to save people money when I can.)

LE Diet short version is found here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-conceive-girl/16780-low-everything-diet-nutshell-version.html

They all do sound like they know what they're talking about - but listen to the one who admits she doesn't! ;) none of us really know why any of this works, it's just educated guessing and we are going to get it wrong sometimes but over the course of time, I think we are going to see more and more success and get the kinks ironed out as much as possible. Then once we know what works, someone with a lab and some grad students will figure out the whys. :)

We are doing the diet loosely, im eating recommended foods and no breakfast or snacks but im not tracking calories, if i did i'd obsess which is not good for a girl sway. I've also got clomid and pregnitude (pcos) which will hopefully help me along the way and I'm not exercising at all (was when i conceived boys) then we are doing every four days with one attempt at opk. I'd just do the one attempt but we need to get preggers sooner rather than later because of the clomid.

I agree with you some of the things are ridiculous, I cant fathom how a waterfall will help attract the female sperm or a wooden spoon under my mattress but I think a lot of people go with the, it doesnt hurt to try, approach. I do have a rose quartz bracelet but thats cause its pretty, not the negative ions lol.
