Hello Ladies!!
Today is 9 dpo for me, and BFN :0( I did to want to count myself out yet but after DTD today I had some spotting, bright red too. This usually happens to me before AF. Should I count myself out this month or am I still in the running? Any input is appreciated, thank you!!!

the odds are that AF is on her way but there is still a chance (and not a small one, a decent one) that you are still in it to win it. I had a full 5 day period with one of my pregnancies and came away with a healthy baby.

 I figured it wouldn't be the first month but it still sucks.

So... inquiring minds want to know... did AF show up or was it possibly implantation bleeding? I had some dark brown spotting tonight (11 dpo) and I am trying to be patient waiting for a BFP and hoping this was implantation bleeding and not the beginning of AF (though AF usually just starts for me and doesn't start with dried blood). This was our first month TTC also. Fingers crossed for you!!!

Well spotting stopped immediately after but last night we DTD again and more spotting, bright red too. I think it's AF  Fingers crossed for you though, maybe the fact that it's dark brown means that it's old blood, possibly implantation?
I was so hopeful this month, DH was having a Wendy's double bacon hamburger and I was salivating! I can't wait to stuff myself! Hopefully next month will be my month :fingers:

Well, if it is AF my official prescription is a Wendy's single bacon hamburger. :)

Hahaha.... I said essentially the same thing to my husband today--if I am pregnant, we are so going down to the local burger joint for a burger--I haven't eaten red meat for over 3 months!! I agree with Atomic, I think burgers are necessary all around--whether pregnant or AF!! But good luck. My spotting went away but then this afternoon started up again, I'm think AF is just around the corner, albeit starting a bit unusually....

Well, I enjoyed a huge burger last night after 3.5 months of no red meat. It was quite delicious! But tomorrow, I must get back on track. My spotting stopped today and AF is due tomorrow, but an early prediction test was very clearly negative (claimed 98% accuracy one day before period due), so I am in for at least another month of LE....
Thanks, atomic, for giving us "permission" to indulge. =)

Guess what!!!! I had a very faint line today!!! I posted it in the JULY 2ww. I had a shadow yesterday and decided to test again today and it's there!!
I say don't count yourself out until AF shows herself... TO the naked eye there was no line on my AF Due day, so I'm sure a day before there was nothing. DH thought I was going nuts!!!

CONGRATS!!!!! That is great!! I am so happy for you! Keeping my fingers crossed that maybe I can take after you too... we shall see. If AF doesn't show up in the next 2 days (she's due today, but hasn't started yet), I will retest.

I have seen the occasional 16 DPO pos pregnancy test. It is not unheard of at all (and there's always the possibility that you ovulated on a different day than you think) Huge congrats.

Congratulations on the BFP! I had a small bleeding on 10 DPO with this pregnancy and I know how nerve wrecking it is. It was after getting a BFP as well so I thought it would be a chemical, but voila, I'm due next week! :) Good luck!
