This month was my first clomid cycle, I took them cd 3-7 i'm now on cd16 with no sign of ovulation and opks as negative as you can get! I've had no symptoms, whilst taking them or after, and i'm now worried its not working...how am I supposed to know?!? I'm not having u/s (i been given 3 months worth and told to go back after 3 months if not preggers) but am going to bring it up with dr because its making me stressed.

Try not to stress because that will only push back ovulation further. This is my concern also (starting clomid next month) but from what I read, it is pretty common to ovulate 10 days after your last pill. Keep taking those opks and hopefully you will see a surge in the next day or two. Can you call your dr for a scan if you go past day 20 with no ovulation?

I have also heard that you ovulate 10 days after your last pill so try not to stress for a few more days! Hang in there!!

Popping over here. I have newly diagnosed pcos but I still ovulate on my own very late in my cycle between CD 19 to 22. I was placed on clomid for 3 cycles, 50 mg, 100 mg, and 150 mg CD 3-7. I also did u/s to check my progress and clomid did not help bring my ovulation earlier or produce more than one egg. Cycle 1 I ovulated on CD 19, cycle 2 CD 22, and cycle 3 CD 19. By the third cycle I had no ewcm whatsoever. If you aren't having u/s to check progress the only thing you really can do is temping and opks. Good luck.

It's totally normal to ovulate at a totally different time of the month than normal when on Clomid. Just keep the faith and it will happen!

If you're worried about missing the pos OPK, you can do the every 4 day method.

temping not reliable on Clomid and I don't recommend it unless you're already well versed in it.
