LACE!! WELCOME BACK!! I've often thought of you & wondered how you are. So glad to hear you're going HT. I wish we could but it's out of the question for us. My adorable sway opposite was born in Dec & I want to sway again early next year. Can't wait to follow you & your journey to get your dd! :)

Dream!! Hi!! *so many hugs*

Omg congrats on your precious little baby boy. I've missed everyone but I really needed to just get out of that obsessive headspace for awhile. Awhile turned into holy crud - 1.5 years. I had no idea it had been so long. But I did get some balance in the rest of my life, some perspective, and heh.....so much for moving on past the baby stage, LOL. We are trying to keep some perspective, but I know I need to try to know I did everything I could. If it's not meant to be, hey, me and my boys are still awesome. :D

I've reposted to the members section for more replies though, been so long I'd forgotten if I could still access those forums, LOL.

Welcome back, I don't know if I have seen you on GD because I joined maybe just after the start of your break but I was researching swaying and took a break and am now in the HT team as DP has agreed and I only want more and don't want to risk not getting a girl by naturally conceiving.

I love your profile picture. So so cute! I have a weakness for sailor suits on little boys but have high hopes that I'll get to use the two sailor dresses in different sizes that I have tucked away.

Best of luck to you

Hi 1+2+3boys! Thanks for the welcome. :) I made that outfit in my avatar, got so tired of trying to find cute boys stuff in stores (all they ever had was plaid button ups and jeans.)

I ADORE your avatar too! I have a weakness for cute boy hats, LOL. Good thing I shoved that sailor hat on Alex before he decided he hates all hates. LMAO. Can you believe that little baby in my pic is sitting beside me right now, almost 5yo? sniff

Wow, so he is pretty much the same age as my DS1, time does fly. I can't believe my first baby will be at school next year. I have some pics of him in sailor outfits, though not made by me. He is my boy who is more like a girl in personality.
I always wanted to learn to sew for the same reasons you mentioned above plus for me and also gorgeous things for a girl one day. Well I started this year so I can get good before she arrives! One day I will try a sailor suit if I can find a pattern. I am making waistcoats for the boys at the momment and plan to post photos when I am done.

Awww waistcoats sound soooo cute!

I only made a few outfits - that sailor one, a Canada day set, and one other. It was too fiddly for me with all the little snaps and trim, lol. More a chore than fun sewing them but they turned out REALLY cute. :D It was my mini rebellion against the lack of cute baby boy outfits in stores.

Mine are all not really stereotypical 'boy' in personality, LOL. I have a bookworm, a ballet dancer, and well DS3 is the 'boyest' of the 3. All over the map though really.

It is too early to tell how 'boyish' the twins will be. lol to rebelion. I think I'm a bit like that too. I think, there will be NO girls at the playground cuter than my boys. Dressing a girl nice seems so effortless, just put on a pretty dress, it doesn't even have to be expensive but boys are so much harder. I don't like alot of clothes for boys at shops and the ones I do like are specialised so so expensive. I'd love to make extras to sell to other boy Mums at lower prices but I'm pretty novice still. Practise practise practise

hey good for you! Have fun learning how to sew. I only used one basic overalls pattern and just changed up the trim. It's not so bad, just baby clothes are fiddly. LOL

I'm also a knitter and there are LOTS of adorable baby boy patterns for knitters. :)

I just love making sure my boys are little gentlemen. Well in public anyways, LOL. My boys can sometimes 'out-prim' all the girls we know! And I swear my 10yo is turning into the most emo preteen ever. Who said you had to have girls to have the emo teen stage?

Lace I'm knitting some dungarees for ds3 & 2 winter hats for ds1 & 2 atm. They chose the wool & I can't wait to see them wearing them. I love knitting & have a few beautiful girls patterns filed away just in case :)

Nice!!

I love vintage knitting patterns. They really knew how to dress up their boys in such precious little peacoats and darling sweaters in the 50's.

I really want to learn to knit. One thing at time though. I also love gorgeous little knit things for boys.

Lol to the emo stage. That seems like such a long time away
