Hi everyone. I cut and paste this from the other thread I had but I don't think anyone saw it. Any thoughts?

Just an update and need advice
I ended up getting af on day 25 and bloodwork shows no signs of ovulation. So I have no idea what the positive opk at day18 was. I am now on day7 of my 4th month on clomid. I just got back from the cruise and had zero control of my diet. I think I ate 9 months worth of what I cut out. I'm so disappointed in myself. I can't afford to skip the month. I'm just trying to be strict here on out and hope I actually ovulate. Any thoughts on what could have happened or what last minute things I can do to make up for my salt saturated foods for a week? Thank you so much

One cheat won't ruin months of diet, don't panic. And the clomid is a great girl sway tactic. Is it unusual for you to not ovulate?

answered in other thread

Salt doesn't sway. I am 110% certain of it.

I really strongly urge you not to get strict now. YOu may end up not ovulating again this month if you get super strict.

Thanks for your responses. I think in retrospect my cruise eating wasn't too bad, I'm just beating myself up. I definitely won't skip a month.
Anchor, I was having pretty routine ovulations until we started ttc. Then things got crazy. I stopped getting af and was given clomid. Month 1 50mg- no ovulation. Month 2, 50mg. Ovulation but not a good one. Month 3 , 100mg. Positive opk on day 18 and af on day 25. My bloodwork on day 24 said no ovulation! That is what is confusing me the most. I'm scared because I can only do clomid 2 more times after this and I don't know what is wrong with my body. I think I may have lost too much weight but I started with salmon 1x a week, 4 eggs, and full fat dairy so I'm just hoping for an egg this month!

You know, I was super regular - 26 day cycles and I could even predict what time AF would show up, LOL. I did 2 rounds of Clomid, first round, I got a +OPK, but no O and AF on day 21, second round I O'd on CD 7, but my lining was too think to support anything. RE pulled me off the Clomid, it usually fails in "older" moms and those with high FSH. Maybe your body is trying to tell you something? Can you get Letrozole? Losing too much weight can totally mess with O!

What is letrozole? And fsh? I know all my initial bloodwork came back normal. I'm 30 so I know it isn't too young, but def not old. Just hoping to ovulate. Thanks for our insight!

I am not always sure doctors are doing us a favor with yhe 100 mg Clomid. I've seen it cause problems for people.

AGree with Anchor - if you're much beyond 35 Clomid may hurt your odds of conception, not help it.

Carry on with the increased fat intake and hopefully this will work itself out this month

OK at 30 the Clomid should work for you just fine, esp. with normal bloodwork.

Thank you! I'm hoping. On day 12, using opks twice a day. Nothing yet but Dtd every 4 days. But last month I got a smiley and didn't ovulate so don't even know if they work for me. Just hoping..!

It's possible to get a surge (hence, smiley) and your body is like, eh, I think I'll just hold onto this egg a little longer here. NOrmally you'd just regroup (hormonally speaking) and then release the egg a few days or weeks later but the Clomid can fudge with that, so you end up having a major drop in estrogen which then triggers your body to release the eggo.
