Combined ph

After DTD what is the optimal ph? I find mine really spikes. With Refresh, mine is just over 5 today (DTD the last 3 nights). Is that too high? I just got a positive OPK so I think I will be Oing soon.

So should I depend on the Refresh or what else can I do? Until yesterday I had been doing a combo or Replens/lime douche in diva cup after BD and was able to keep ph under 5.

I was told combined ph after bd should be between ph 5-6 :) if you think about it, yours ph4 thereabouts, dp about ph7, combined takes it to ph5-6, i'm not sure if combined under 5 is good for conception, someone else might know otherwise... i find this whole swaying process all hit and miss... good luck

No, pH of 5 after DTD 3 nights in a row is PERFECT. :agree: In fact I would say even in the low 6's is just fine for combined pH.

DO NOT waste any time or effort chasing after combined pH in the 4's. That will only kill off every sperm present.
