View Full Version : Is there going to be a stat/percent section?

On IG they had a stats or percent section, wasn't updated, but I was wondering if there is something like that here.
% on who swayed and what they got. A basic list of what they did and for how long. It doesn't have to be long and take days to read but enough to get an idea what vita/herbs/supps, diet, timing, moon, and weight.
It would also be nice to have one for HT as while to see how long it took and if they got their DG. So if someone is interested they could know more facts.

That is a good idea and we need to do that - up to this point, we didn't have enough results to do that. Thank you!!

Well there are a few people who have had babies (after swaying) and several that are pregnant with confirmed gender scans... it's a start!

Actually, Surveys are implemented but not live yet. We are using them in HT and there is a link to them there. I need help with the swaying ones to pull them together.

My only worry would be that those who have failed sways either wont post their sway or won't post an update so the results will be biased?

Well, you just have to focus on what we do have. Biased or not, it should still be helpful to see what was done by those that choose to post.

And I like to think that in an environment where people's sways aren't picked apart and criticized that maybe the failed sways will be more likely posted than they were otherwise. That is my hope anyway. Because really those are more informative than the sways that worked are - if we start to see a pattern where everyone who took Madame Rosa's Magic Girl Producing Snake Oil but didn't do diet has boys and everyone who did diet and took it is having girls, then it is probably diet and not MRMGPSO that is swaying.

PS - there is no Madame Rosa's Magic Girl Producing Snake Oil BTW!!!

Oh, that is an excellent idea! Why didn't I think of it! LOL!
For a start maybe just percents of 'succesful' sways and percents of "failed" sways? ( I don't like that term "failed sway' - if there's a baby cookin' in there, hey, it's succesfull . Or maybe it's just my perspective after a year of swaying :worry: )
I know all blue swayers posted their gender result as soon as they knew it :agree:

Would anyone be willing and able to help put together something for NBP??? I don't think I would be able to get to it until this winter and I think that's too long to wait.

What rainbowflower has kindly done for us in the pink sway stats is given the reverse stats on several things - where we can see the % success rates of the various tactics and then see how many people got their DG WITHOUT using that. Some things are very similar success rates both with and without them, and so we have to assume that these things are not doing a whole lot. It's not perfect and there's at least one thing where I think it makes an ineffective sway tactic look better than it really is (long story short, it's something that does not affect odds of conception and is easy to do, so strict people are able to keep it in the mix; at the same time it's a bit of a superstitious tactic so more relaxed swayers leave it out - net result, strict swayers are way more likely to do it then relaxed swayers are)
Unfortunately we have not had enough responses in the blue sway section to compile a similar group of stats. But that having been said, as a general rule blue sways are much more similar than pink sways are and thus our overall % success rate for blue is much more informative than it is for pink (because most blue swayers are doing round about the same things)
