View Full Version : Gender clues at 13 weeks?

I found out yesterday that I'll have an ultrasound on Monday. What kind of gender clues might I be able to see? Will a nub shot be the most reliable or could a potty shot work too? I'm just curious...I know it's early. I'll be 13w1d.

I don't know? Maybe a nub shot? I thought I was getting good at guessing but recently there was a lower limb shot on here and looked clearly boy to me and it was confirmed girl at 18 weeks:-/ so that is my reason for thinking nub instead of potty.

Abifasc 13w1d is perfect for a nub shot but way too early for a potty shot If you can get a good pic of the baby on it's side you should get a good shot of the nub Best of luck!!

Ok great I'll ask for that! I'm so excited I didn't think I'd get in eat a good time for a nub shot :) :)

Yah side profile and straight or pointing down long nub!
I knew mine was a girl even when I tried not to look, it was clear as day! Although I guess they can be different so that may not necessarily be what you see?!

Thanks everyone, y'all are so encouraging. I'm really hoping it looks girly! I feel so strongly that it's a girl I just can't wait for visual confirmation!

The tech wouldn't print any pictures for me and she only let me take one picture with my phone, which she picked, that was not a nub shot. She did freeze the monitor for a minute so I could try to explain the nub theory and my baby had a flat girl nub :) I have another ultrasound on the 18the specifically for gender so I'll know then!!
