EWCM after ovulation?

Is it possible to have EWCM only after ovulation?

This month I had a +OPK last sunday afternoon, but did´t really have EWCM at that point.
On monday the OPK was still clearly positive, I had cramps and was sure that I ovulated on that day.
On tuesday evening I started having EWCM, wednesday there was even more and I had really strong cramps. Out of curiosity I took another OPK, but it was negative. The EWCM was still present the next day.

Last month was similar. I had my regular Ob Gyn check up one day after I had my first +OPK. I had no EWCM at that point. My doctor knows we´re trying to conceive and when I told her about the +OPK she performed an ultrasound. She said the egg must have been already released. One day after the ultrasound (3 days after +OPK) I started having EWCM for about 3 days.

So is it common to have EWCM after ovulation? I always thought after ovulation the CM changes to creamy and sticky? Or did I get that completely wrong?

That's interesting! I get EWCM after ovulation sometimes. Usually a day or two before AF if I get it after ovulation that month.

I have gotten it after ovulation sometimes including the month I had my daugher. If I had waited around to attempt till my CM turned sticky I would not have a daughter. I didn't have much at all till the day we DTD (which turned out to be O-1, confirmed by ultrasound) and then I had it for the next 2-3 days.

I did this month too, had it before and after for about 3 days. I'm currently 3dpo

some women, myself included do get ewcm before AF is due

Atomic, I did a cheapie pregnancy test I am 11dpo it was negative still early if AF doesnt show by the 16th I will test again. If I am pregnant, hopefully I have been swaying enough to help sway for a girl! Soo nervous!

I wanted to give an update too: I got a BFP yesterday at 14 dpo. :-) I am super happy und so curious to see if my sway worked. But most of all I am just hoping for a healthy pregnancy and baby :-) Can´t believe I got pregnant in this super chaotic cycle being sick most of the time (and practically without EWCM around ovulation)

Thank you! We were swaying pink. We already have one son who just turned 3.
I´ll post my sway in the girl sway section but I want to wait until the doctor confirmed the pregnancy :-)

I have it again this cycle! Its definitely not normal for me I dont think :/ today is 3/4 DPO. I also had what looked like ovulation spotting for about 2 days also

Well, I think any time something seems to change from when you got your boys - that may be a positive sign.
