What is vitamin b beneficial for when ttc a boy? I see a lot of ladies using vit. B12 or a b-complex vitamin. What is the purpose and who could benefit from taking this? I'm sure I have read about this somewhere on this site but I cant remember where. Lol
Thanks ladies

says here that B12 is an antioxidant and can raise sperm count
B6 - this vitamin helps with your luteal phase. 100 mg is believed to be safe for those TTC and even throughout the first trimester, but some people find that 50 or even 25 mg works for lengthening their LP. Should be weaned off slowly, but you can take it throughout pregnancy.
I'm sure there are other things on the site, but I couldn't find them :D

I took both during my sway.....anything that helps! I have to take B12 anyway....but I added the B6 and will continue with it during pregnancy or at least the first trimester as apparently it helps with morning sickness.

ALL nutrients seem to sway blue.
The reason why we say B12 in particular is because studies have shown vegetarian diets and particularly vegan ones (which are by definition lower in B12 than diets including animal protein) produce more daughters. I believe this may be down to B12 because many vegetarian/vegan diets are super high in lots of other nutrients. B12 is one thing you can only get from animal products or supplements, so if there is any one difference between veg and carnivore diets, it's B12 levels.
