Been told boy but potty shot 16+3 I'm not so sure??

Hi guys

I've been to a gender scan this morning at the start the baby had it's legs closed and cord in between so she sent me out for a sugary drink and me and my hubby did a 10 minute walk!

When we got called back in she had another look but still struggled she was saying I'm going to have to get you back in, then she got a picture and said boy! We have 3 photos all together?

I don't think it looks anything like a boy but I am by no means an expert! With our son his 16w gender scan was a clear turtle it was no mistakable at all so I kind of knew what I was looking for!

Through the whole scan me and hubby didn't catch site of any boy bits and were so shocked when she said boy! I just wondered what you guys thought? If it is then that's fine and I will except that I'm having boy number 5 but just don't want to think I'm having a boy choose his name and it be a girl, I need to know so I can bond with the baby!

I suffered bad GD last time and don't want that this time that's partly why we gave had this scan! At the end of the scan the lady said baby was very difficult and I think you should just make sure it's defiantly a boy when you go to your 20 weeks scan. I thought that was a lil odd as never had a tech say that to me before!

Hmm I would get a rescan. I could definitely see how these could go either way. I lean further boy than girl but don't buy anything till you get a better scan.

I've got the feelin I'm looking at the cord at al 3 pics. I can't say Either way.

Sweet dream I am thinking it's cord aswell as I can't see any boy bits but can't see girl bits either the whole scan I never saw boy bits!

For the tech to tell me to get it confirmed at my 20 week scan I find odd aswell! :/

Yeah not a very clear one at all. I could go either way! Id lean girl because I think I see the hamburger sign but a little too distorted to say for sure. Are there ultrasound studios where you are? That is the route I took when the hospital had even worse pictures than yours and told me it was a boy. Heres the difference it can make. The top 2 were taken at the hospital and the bottom two at an ultrasound studio. I was so pleased with the results of those bottom two pictures and I was able to resign myself to the fact I was indeed having a boy much easier. I even have video of him KISSING the ultrasound probe and it is something I will treasure forever and recommend anyone do! The top right picture is his skull and him holding the cord to which they tried to tell me was boy parts. I showed them to the tech at the ultrasound studio as well as his other "gender" shots and even she said she couldn't tell a darned thing from them!

My personal opinion is that that could be a girl and that bulge is her fist. Not getting your hopes up as like you I'm no expert, but I see 4 lines like 4 fingers maybe? Are you graving a 20 week scan?

I think that's a boy. Just a bad pic. I could be wrong though.

I think it's probably a boy too but would dead get re scanned if you need to know for sure!!

Foxymrs funny you should say that as the baby had hands down there all the time to me it looks like a fist as you can see the 4 finger lines I couldnt work out why there was 4 lines but it makes sense now! I can see the hands in all 3 photos and the tech made a comment about the baby's hands constantly down there lol that with the cord I don't think these images are that great!

I dunno if it's just me but on the proper fist photo number 2 I can see the 3 white line just behind the fist!?
What do you guys think?

I personally think most scans before 20 weeks are too hard to tell unless you get really lucky with the angle.

I don't lean either way on these, especially if baby had a hand down there.
