Gender scan Monday...freaking out!!

I'm starting to get so nervous and I know you ladies will understand. I'm SO sure this baby is a girl and now I'm just scared that I'll be proven wrong and it will be a lot to swallow. I will definitely love a boy, but I imagine it'll feel like a kind of death to the daughter I think I have inside me. I'm praying for peace.

That's what I love about it there's no judgement from anyone as we are all in the same boat but think we are all genuinely happy when someone gets their DG! I'm frequently in tears of joy for someone on here as they've got their DG, or sorrow if it's not the news they expected, but I feel I'll be shedding happy tears for you Monday too Hun! If not know we are behind you 100% and feel your emotions at not hearing the news you wanted.

I felt from day 1 that my oldest was a boy, which I wanted. I thought my 2nd was a girl because the pregnancy was so opposite. But when I found out he was a boy I wasn't surprised. I've been pretty positive about this one being girl once I started throwing up at 5 weeks...I never have thrown up in pregnancy and rarely ever in normal life either.

Good luck Abi! I can't wait to hear your news. I had my obstetrician appointment today and my little one didn't want to reveal anything! I can't believe I still don't know!! The heart rate was 160 bpm so that's a teeny clue maybe? ;)

It's so funny how similar our three experiences have been. I knew from the moment I did the preg test my first was a boy. My second threw me off a bit though, was feeling more of a girl vibe with him and this time round I've been vomiting which I never normally do in pregnancy (or ever really!!) - I hope we both get our girls!! x

I too swayed pink as best I could and thought so strongly that this buba in my (now very big) tummy was a girl and I was very shocked that 'she' was definitely all boy :) but I am convinced that they were meant to be; opposites have fought so hard to beat the odds that they must be so special, and wanted us to be their mummys so much... Thank you, all of you! It is truly amazing to just know my feelings are understood. I really love having boys and am very excited about Micah already but the loss of the daughter I bought I had is a surprising struggle. If we decide to have #4 I'll definitely be swaying and praying again. The anticipation to see if it worked has made the ttc and early pregnancy process a lot of fun!!

I felt like this would be my last biologically, but we have always have had plans to foster to adopt. My husband never wanted sons, only daughters at first so we are both surprised by how extremely happy we are with being parents to our boys. I am one of 8 kids, so 4 is not a stretch. I'll have to revisit it and pray about whether I'll still long for a daughter with four sons if my next sway "fails". I don't feel like my gender disappointment is extreme this time, but I'll have to think about all that :)
