Anyone willing to take a guess? :)

I have my thoughts about whether there is or is not a nub in these pictures and whether I think it's girly or boyish. Having said that, I also think that during the ultrasounds I saw both girly and boyish versions of what I thought was the nub, leading me to believe....I know absolutely nothing :oops: And, when I told my friend she asked "omg, what if it's a hermaphedite?!" Are you freaking kidding me?! I just laughed at her.

So here goes nothing. I was 12w3d (which I know is unreliable nub territory), baby was measuring 13w6d. And for those who read my anxiety post about my noseless baby == here are the pics. So, please, let me know if you happen to see a nasal bone, lol.

Anyway, any guesses are welcome :) I'm anxious to hear what people have to think (about the nub and baby's nose).

I am leaning boy but it's really not a good nub shot, so dark! As for the nasal bone, when they couldn't get a good profile of my babe, they got me to come back just to check for the nasal bone so I'm pretty sure they would call you back if there was a problem! It's a pretty big thing to let slide;)

I really hope I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that's a boy. I see a nose in the second shot. So cute!

I agree, it does look like a boy. The very first shot I saw during the ultrasound was oooohhh, that's a boy. Then a few shots later I thought, wait a minute, that nub looks girly. But this picture looks boyish to me too. I'm not sure why the pics were so blurry. I'm guessing I didn't drink enough (since we had an hours drive to get there). I will not be surprised to find out boy whenever we decide to find out.

I figure if they couldn't find the nasal bone, they would have kept me after the fact to discuss. She pointed out - there is the forehead, there is the nose and the chin. But I wasn't paranoid about it until I left and was looking at the pics.

ps. I'm okay with a boy or a girl. Yes, I was really hoping baby would be a girl (last baby and all), but if I have three boys, I'll have three amazing boys!

I am also leaning blue for this little one. But I also see the nose in the second pic :) I know it's hard not to worry, but I think your babe looks perfect! And, really, the pics are rather dark, I can't tell much of what I am seeing in the nub area. And wow...baby is measuring rather big, do they think your dates are off? Or are you pretty sure of them? (I do know that later sonos aren't as accurate, but being 10 days big is a good amount!)

Gorgeous bub Angie!! I can't see anything nub useless here but just wanted to say congrats about happy and healthy bub. Its so true its win win whatever way ! Will you find out at 20 weeks or go team green? Xxx

Hey Angie I would love to guess but I can't make the nub out properly and I'm not very good at this! I really hope it's a girl but having said that I have three boys are they're amazing together!

My first ultrasound I was 6w1d from lmp - which is what the baby measured. I know I o'd early so I was surprised. Second ultrasound I was 8w1d, and measuring 9w. Now 12w3d and measuring 13w6d. So baby is growing fast! I was apt to believe the second one was the most accurate, but in the end, baby will come when s/he is ready. I have big babies (9 pounds, 4 oz and 9 pounds 7 oz) and they always measure ahead.

I can't decide if I'm staying team green or going to find out. I want it both ways! haha.

And I'm glad people see the nasal bone! I'm sure it's there or else they would have told me but usually on my other baby ultrasounds is very obvious!

Thanks again for the guesses! I'll know in a few weeks or 6 months :P

I never even thought to ask if anyone had any ideas for skull theory! I think I'm going to end up finding out in a few weeks -- the obsession has kicked in. I'm going to let DH think he "convinced" me to find out. I really really wanted the surprise after delivery, but apparently I suck at the waiting game :P

I bought a sweet baby pink zebra print sleeper that says "baby sister"....it's so soft and cute.
