Hi, I am a new member and not sure if I am posting this in the right place?
We already have a lovely boy who is 2 and would love a little girl. We are going to start to try in November and have already started to take some supplements but would really appreciate any advice on this sway.
I am 32, DH is 34.
I am currently taking calcium and magnesium tablets, Vitamin B6, cranberry tablets, 5mg folic acid and acidophilus.
DH is taking liquorice root, acidophilus, cranberry and calcium and magnesium.

I am planning doing the LE diet for 6 weeks prior to attempt and DH has agreed to cut out meat, eggs and caffeine. He has been wearing tight underwear two days a month to try and lower sperm count. He has a ph of 9 and this has not reduced with the supplements.

We thought we would abstain for 7 days and then bd on 1st positive opk. I have also bought Rephresh to use the day before attempt.

I am unsure whether this is good enough or whether there is anything else we should be doing?

You might have better luck posting in the main TTC a girl forum, this one is basically for posting after you're pregnant.

In general, nutrients, for the woman especially, seem to sway blue, so all the supplements you're taking are more likely to sway boy (sorry!), although you do need to stay on the folic acid (or folate, if you can find/afford it)

The cranberry you really shouldn't be taking at all since you'd need to stop it at O & it's something you should taper off slowly. And the acidophilus worked so well for boys, it's suggested for them now.

Basically, the things getting best girl results are diet, 1 hr/day of cardio & 1 attempt in the fertile window.
