Hiya I'm hoping to sway for a baby boy soon. I love oat granola with raisins and almonds just wondering if this is okay on a boy sway? Thank you :) xx

I'm not sure about granola or raisins but I know oats and almonds are great. Check out the link in my signature for HE diet frequently asked questions :)

granola is good for a boy sway, and adding some almonds with it so you get the protein + carb is the best. I would put granola in my greek yogurt as well.

Hi , I am currently swaying girl but I do eat about 1/2 -3/4 cup of granola almost everyday ( without milk ) sometimes with peanut butter . I eat the nature’s path flax cereal . And as far as I know it isn’t fortified ... I do eat peanut butter everyday too .
Is this really bad for a girl sway ? Am I really compromising my chances ? I think I’m with in my limits . I might be in the higher end of the fat intake around 60 grams / day but I am a very small person so not sure I should go lower . I loose weight very fast . Im only about 93 pounds and 5’2 if I eat a ton all day long I can get up to 97/98 but that’s usually where I stay . If I do need to cut out the granola and or peanut butter should I skip ttc this month?

I walk an hour a day 5-7 days a week and also do vegetarian and don’t eat breakfast . Not sure if this can justify the cereal . ?

I would have you drop it. It is the rare commercial cereal that is not fortified and while I know the Nature's Path is not heavily fortified, the only food ever shown in studies to sway blue was cereal, and we only speculate it was from the fortification. We really don't know. (plus, we have dropped flax more than 2-3 times per week as it may not be safe to use daily when TTC and especially when pregnant.)

60 g fat a day is fine and I do not want you to take any chances that you might lose weight. Do whatever it takes to keep weight on.

The peanut butter is fine within limits.

Thank you for your reply above . I apologize for reposting this link , I posted it on a thread somewhere and can not find it . I just found this study stating that girl fetus’ are the weaker link . From what I understand from this link it condraticts everything about swaying . I am wondering if this is why I have had 2 failed sways . Has anyone seen this study before or know anything more about this ?

Yes, I"ve seen this study before, when it came out. I just replied in the other place you asked it and I'll go llook it up and post a link.

To start a new thread you need to open a forum, not a thread. Click on "TTC a girl" or any of the forums on the main page and then you'll see the "start new thread" option. :)
