I know its hard for people that dont normally eat a lot lol
I find drinking a couple glasses of v8 juice a day helps me get more veggie intake because Im not big on veggies

Eat a fruit with breakfast, veggies with dinner, frozen veggies work too and are cheaper and last longer.

You could also eat veggies and dip for one of your snacks

Hope this helps!

I never swayed blue but have 2 boys!

Banana strawberry blueberry smoothie for breakfast
Mid morning snack of dried fruit
Fruit salad with lunch
Apples or bananas with peanut butter for a mid afternoon snack.
Pork chop with apples for dinner.
Berries on ice cream for dessert

Make a big green smoothie! Makes about 2 pints so a good lunch with whole cucumber, avocado, couple of pears, couple sticks celery plus frozen spinach.... I get the ones in little ****s so a couple of little ****s is same as whole packet - easy way to get in load of portions!

juice

I agree on the v8 if you can stomach it. I have seen that v8 splash has fruit and veggie content as well and is much better tasting if that's a concern for you.

V8 splash has been recently reformulated to include artificial sweetener and should be avoided for blue. V8 fusion is just juice and is ok for blue.

Keep in mind that a serving of juice is much smaller than people realize. one serving is about the size of a sippee cup - 6-8 oz. So when you drink a bottle of juice from the store you are getting 2 servings.

Also - if you are doing coconut water, wheatgrass juice, or lemon water (provided you use one whole lemon per day) you can count those as servings of fruit and veg. So if doing those three things that is 3 servings right off the bat.

Hmmm...I'm honestly not sure how much water is in a coconut? And is that not more expensive than storebought coconut water?

That having been said, the 9-11 servings is just a goal to reach for, if you were to get 8 servings that doesn't mean you;ll have a girl LOL! So yes, go ahead and count the water in the coconut and then eating some coconut as a serving of fruit, even though technically the coconut isn't a fruit or veg, it's still nice for a boy! :) (now you're making me hungry! I love fresh coconut)
