Ok I have done really well sticking to limits from Monday to Friday and have totally ruined it this weekend! Weekends are really hard compared to during week! Back to the drawing board tomorrow and get back on it!
Anyone else the same? 😊

Keepthefaith I would always loosen up a little on weekends mainly as I was home and during the week I work so less temptation!! A few cheats are mandatory to get through le!! X

i loosen diet on weekends too. I believe a few cheats wont caused a huge diff. Nor to stress myself over caution of foods intakes. :-)
So not to worry...

I was good Monday to Thursday then did my best Friday to Sunday. Remains to be seen whether I was successful but it was the only way I could do it

I definitely eat 1-2 cheat meals a week (and usually one late breakfast) on the weekends.

Stephk (you can search members for some of her posts on diet) always went off the diet at weekends. She took it into consideration in her overall eating plans and since she knew she didn't do well sticking to diet on the weekends, she just accomodated that by eating a bit stricter during the week.
Cheats are mandatory and you just time them to be at the best possible time for you. :)

That's the best way to handle it, if it happens, it happens, don't beat yourself up over it, tomorrow is another day.
ALLL those gals out there who got girls wihtout even thinking about it, did on occasion have a weekend where they ate a bit more than normal.

Are you going to find out what you are having Stephk? How far along are you? Very exciting!

I was so good and cooked bacon eggs on beautiful Turkish bread and ate none, only to snack later on (fathers day weekend lots of entertaining). So hard when your hungry. Girl dust to all, hope peppermint tea does some sway too, loathe it.

Ladies, what are you reffering to when you say "cheats"? What you ate and considered you shouldnt?
I think someone has to open a thread called "our meal cheats" to see what we should mostly avoid :)))

Yes, a cheat is just anything someone eats and thinks they shouldn't have. :)

To be honest I think we all say eek we've cheated when in reality it's not really a cheat/not really that bad. If I compare my weekends on LE diet to my weekends before I started the diet I was still having less overall. I was just going over on the totals I set for myself.
As for finding out, I have told everyone that I'm team green but I am going to find out and if it's a boy as far as the outside world is concerned I'm team green. This is because i am ok with a boy but I am not ok with the commentary and I would like to avoid that for as long as possible. Even DH won't know at the same time as me because he isn't coming to the 20 week scan but will come to the private 4d one we will have at Christmas. Of course I will be telling you ladies as soon as I know though :)

I consider cheating when eating over my Kcal plan or snack. But so far I'm good. Hope can keep it this way.
Steph, I will act just like you do. I will not tell my husband to come with me at my 10-12 weeks scan and if I do the Harmony test, I want to be the first one to find so I can cry for a while in peace.

MyB, my husband stayed home with my last ultrasound and I felt a LOT calmer than I had with other ones. I knew that if I broke down he wouldn't know about it and if I got really excited he wouldn't get uptight about that either.

I think this is the best solution.
We womens, are very positive but mens do not think like us.
Of course my DH wishes for a girl but when he sees my strenght in not eating until 1-2 afternoon and go every day at the gym and the fact that I dont eat meat anymore, he asks :
So what will you do if we have another boy?😁
Will you love him the same way?
So I'm quite for a while and then : ...but I will have a girl. I think God loves me, he must love me! 😂😂 ..and if we will have another boy, at least I have an awesome name prepared for him😂😂😂
I know, I'm crazy! 😎

God loves us whether we have a boy or a girl, of course!!! Sometimes I think God knows stuff that we don't and maybe He has a plan in mind that is different from the one that we have! ;)
