Of course during our second month ttcing a girl I would have to come down with a horrible cold! I want to know what I can take that won't ruin my sway. I have sinus pressure, drainage, post nasal drip, and swollen glands. I fear this is going to turn into a sinus infection! I haven't taken anything for the pain to avoid delayed o, which might happen anyway with being so sick! Ugh! I should o sometime between 9/12 through 9/16.

I have been continuing to take my Zyrtec and steriod nasal spray (Rhinocort, is this ok?) for bad allergies. I broke down and took one Sudaphed today. I am also irrigating my sinuses with Neilmed Sinus rinse and drinking my herbal tea (just celestial seasoning not anything medicated). What can I take, and if I do need antibiotics, is this bad? I hope to avoid antibiotics! Also, does being sick sway before ovulation?

Help is much appreciated!

Update: DH is getting it too. Does this sway? What can he take? He likes cold eeze lozenges. I haven't taken them since they contain Zinc gluconate.

TIA!!!

Being sick is thought to sway pink, so this is "good"! I've been told antibiotics don't sway blue that much, so if you need them you need them and don't stress too much about having to take them. Anything that dries up sinus issues (sudafed, zyretec, etc) are fine for pink, just avoid things that thin and loosen mucus like mucinex or robitussen. Pain meds are fine and probably won't delay O that much. GL and feel better soon!

Finally something good may come of this! Lol! I have not been this sick in a LONG time. I was never sick when I conceived both of my boys, and I got pregnant with them right away. This is our second month trying, so not that long, but hopefully being sick along with losing 28 lbs, LE diet, fiber, exercise, and one attempt helps my cause!

Thanks!

GL to you as well. I saw in your sig. that you lost a little one early. I hope you get your baby girl soon!

sorry just now saw this, hope i'm in time

sudafed is ok if you need it.

old-school sway people claimed antibiotics swayed blue but i never saw any good data to prove that to me.

i do think being sick can help sway pink.

If DH can live without the zinc I'd have him skip it
