Hi
I'm swaying Pink in Australia. Hopefully someone else will post here soon.

My mum accidently/naturally swayed pink in her diet ie chicken and fish, no red meat, low salt and she had girls.
My MIL accidently/naturally swayed blue ie alot of red meat, high salt, garlic, olive oil and she had all boys.
So I've seen this work, even before we knew what it was.
I've naturally swayed blue (didn't know how much salt was in my diet until I started this sway), and I've had 2 boys and both DH and I would like a girl to complete our family. If we get a boy, then that's God's way and we'll be happy with that too (but I really want a girl).

I've noticed alot of the recommended dietary items in the pink sway are not available in Aus(Perth anyway) so I've used the following:

DietRite Lite Salt: low in sodium and potassium (DH doesn't want his food tasting funny)
KY Jelly: Sylk made me itchy and no Replens/Refresh
Ocean spray cranberry juice: No cranberry supplements
Filtered water: No Desani here
TVSN Neg Ion Shower: Smells like oranges AND sprays Vit C Woo hoo!!

What do you use for a pH tester? I bought some litmus paper and it doesn't change colour for me for CM (from finger, not insertion)

I also did the weird thing of BD 4 days *after* what I think was O, so like O+100 LOL. I had my implanon out and was waiting for my first AF to calculate a proper O, but we BD anyway. What are the chances that it will sway boy, cos the boy sperm will be swimming up first? (If Im preg at all really). We abstained 7 days prior as DH was away.

Cheers,
Annie

You can't get pregnant 4 days after O. The egg is long gone then. :) You never know though as sometimes ovulation can be delayed and coming off the IMplanon will sway pink anyway. :)

Hi Annie!

I'm in Aus too :-)

I have tried Acijel and rePHresh. I found the rephresh made my CM PH increase so I changed to Acijel and it reduced it so i'm going with that :-)

What's Dietrite lite salt? I haven't heard of this!!

Bumping for more Aussies, we have tons of gals on here

Don't worry about the diet salt - it is probably not at all necessary. Most of us have given up on the sodium restriction and are getting just as many girls as ever (if not more!)

I'm hoping to sway pink soon too (and I'm from Aus) :) I have just done a cycle for PGD over in the US and it failed, so here I am reading all the info I can on swaying!

Another Aussie here! Planning to sway pink in June/July but I'm soooooo nervous. About to start my diet tomorrow, and I bought all my supplements, Zyrtec and Sylk today. Just wondering if I should start all the supplements tomorrow as well? Also I currently have the Mirena in, does anyone know how long before we make our first attempt should I have it removed to maximise our pink sway? Thanks :)

Yes, we believe that it ~should~ but that having been said, our results have indicated it is not doing a whole lot. About the same success as the overall success rates of the site (meaning people are getting the same % even when not using it)

Do not take any hormonal herbal supplements while Mirena is in.

I would have you keep it in till month you are ready to TTC, take it out, and DTD every 4 days trying to catch the first egg coming off the MIrena! We have had good results with that. Then, if you do not get pregnant, you can start the herbs if you want to take them, when you get your first AF. Don't start them before you get your first AF coming off the mIrena!!

Ok cool thanks for that advice! I'll stop taking the Vitex and SP. What about the Zytrec, cranberry and asprin? Do I need to take them yet or wait to the Mirena is out?

The lubes just aren't bringing the results to justify their existence. They're getting about the same results as the overall success rates of the site indicating that they are not helping us. But, a lot of people want to give it a month or two using them just to feel like they have done everything in their power to sway. :) Totally up to you on that.

Thanks is it a wash for restoring ph? I was browsing at the supermarket aisles and couldn't see it by name, didn't think to check the pharmacy.

No, its more like a gel. I used it for a few months whilst ttc but didn't use it our successful month.

RepHresh is a jelly type stuff although I think the same company is selling a wash now. just use the jelly and it's in a chemist/pharmacy usually

I got my rephresh from chemist warehouse. I've looked around and most chemists I walk into stock them aswell. I have never seen a ph tester at the shops or chemist though.. If any of you Aussie ladies know of a chemist or supermarket that has them pls let me know.

Dick Smiths sell digital pH testers otherwise the papers can be found in pet/aquarium shops. Hope this helps [emoji4]

hi!!!!! I'm also from OZ (Adelaide). I have just had my first attempt... a bit complicated as I see a fertility specialist and don't ovulate without meds. I think I had a super good sway and I did get pregnant but very early miscarriage so I'm now getting back on the diet band wagon (fell off slightly as I knew I was pregnant and also I wanted a couple of cheat days after being so good for a fair while).
anyways... no we don't have crystal light here but we do have caffeine free diet coke in cans. the number you are looking for on the back for aspartame is 951. all the schwepps diet brands have it as well as some others. solo (the diet one) is also yummy.
I have tried all of the jells just to experiment, and I ended up using a bit of aci-jel for lube.
also I saw someone say something about cranberry?? have to watch if drinking the juice as has soooo much sugar, I find it better just to take the supplements!
the last month has really taken it out of me, and I really needed that little bean to stick for sooo many reasons (work holidays being one big factor and government paid leave, damn!! plus I'm a teacher so I needed it to be in time with my school terms etc). also, oh works away in mining so apart from the money it costs each month to do treatment, sometimes hes not home to dtd. but wasn't meant to be so here I am again ladies! :)

oh and if the litmus paper doesn't change colour when testing ph it means you have low ionic strength and need a digital tester. I got mine on ebay but its crap for cm to be honest. the best brand is Henna brand. but, there is a good article about PH on this site so I don't thin kill even test this month!

Ladies i dont think so we check ph on the site to sway. The idea has bern debunked.

Our results have only gone up since we dropped all the pH testing here is the article http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/11684-ph-pickle.html

Hi Sammysam :) Looks like we are from the same city. I'm also going to be seeing a fertility specialist soon since my cycles are messed up. I have been to one before when ttc my boys but was hoping I would be ok this time.

Hi! 👋 yes I go to Repromed, can't speak highly enough about them. I think I'll be trying again this month, still thinking, but I have until Tuesday as that's when I need to start Clomid if I'm going to do this month 😁

I'm going to go to one in the city because of it being really close to work which will be very handy for ultrasound monitoring.

Good luck if you try again this month!

I went searching the other day for sylk but couldnt find it anywhere. Im on clomid this cycle and have read that you should not use anything else while trying to conceive, is this true? How many girls out there were on clomid and did you use any other sway tactics to conceive? Any advice would be great [emoji16]

I'm in Australia too. Just had a very disappointing 6th BFN...feeling pretty down about it.

Can't help much with sylk but maybe try online?? Also not on clomid so I'm not helpful at all!

I'm doing no exercise (not at all hard for me, lol), 1-2 coffees with a sweetener as" breakfast" then I eat at 10am, I still snack a little but will cut that down, I eat 80% vegetarian (can't resist bacon on weekends) and have lost 3 kg since starting but shouldn't lose much more, about 5 glasses of wine a week, and we bd E4D. I was using clear blue OPK but I think it is just stressing me out more so I am going to try without it as I have enough stress in my life right now. Good luck to us both!!!!!

The jellies like Sylk have not earned their keep anyway. If they sway, it's miniscule compared to the Clomid and since they cut odds of conception by a lot, I have largely given up on them. Some want to use them the first month out and then drop, others skip it totally.

We have had 62 people take Clomid at 47 of them have had girls. They all did other sway tactics, mostly diet and exercise.
