Hi all,
I am new to the forum but not new to swaying. I had a failed sway in 2011 with the arrival of my beautiful second little girl. We are trying again for our little prince. I am a chef by trade and own my own restaurant so I have found the boy diet (well, any diet!!) to be very difficult as I love to cook (and eat!).
I have been looking everywhere for a list of spices/herbs/condiments/oils that sway and would love to tabulate something for reference and would be happy to share it on here. Does anyone have an idea on where I can start?
So far all I have (or I think I have, please correct me if I am wrong)
BOY
Mustard
Mustard Seeds
Salt
Chilli
Olive Oil
Apple Cider Vinegar
GIRL
Cinnamon
Balsamic Glaze
Tahini
Low-Sodium Mayonnaise
Sweetener

Garlic is supposed to sway blue! Not sure how effective any food/spice in isolation, in dietary amounts is but fun idea for thread.

Thanks for the link atomic sagebrush, that helps a great deal!
bluebonnet22 - thanks so much! I am trying the HE diet this time but working with food and increasing calories is always a bad idea for me! I land up packing on the pounds!
Mamato3 - I read anything with sesame would sway pink somewhere, I am not 100% sure though and new to this so please research it

From what I've read it kind of sways pink BUT in small amounts. Also the most essays saying this were written in 2011 and since then a lot have changed.
I would be suprised if it sways pink because it's such a healthy and nutricious food (combines protein with carbs, has Ω3 and Ω6, zink, cal, mag, it is kind of a super food.
Once I start on my sway (end of October) I will ask atomic again cause it is one of the few things I can eat as breakfast (I started eating it with honey after I had DD2) and I really hate milk so it would be difficult for me to not to have tahini as a breakfast option.

it is an old-school sway diet food because of the proportions of calcium to sodium.
I have seen plenty of pink sways fail where people were eating truckloads of tahini. It has a lot of nutrients in it and while certainly fine to eat for EITHER pink/blue, I would not load up on it for pink. There are no magic foods.

I just got a girl eating TONS of salt, some cinnamon in my morning coffee, no tahini, nothing live and fermented (ACV, real pickles, fermented sauerkraut, probiotics,) and the only (small amounts) of mayo I had was regular. I think worrying about the calorie/fat/protein amounts and keeping to LE is a lot more useful than thinking of foods as no-nos or perfect pink swayers.
Having said that, I personally blacklisted any fermented foods/probiotics and cereals and went 98% vegetarian.
